I bought one and used it a lot. Liked it. Broke after a year. Bought a new one for $75 that seems even better but it was price slash occasion. And they don’t work well with tap water because the minerals tend to clog up the electrode at the base. They suggest distilled water. I use reverse osmosis filtered water.

It also comes with an inhalation kit but haven’t used that. Not sure if it’s doing anything but it’s nice and handy. I don’t think any complicated production is one I’d stick to long term.

Dr Alexander Imich was the supercentenarian I was thinking of. He was keen on alkali water.

From this one study, it’s not clear to me if the reported effect is from the pH control or the supplementing with some combo of boron, selenium, and molybdenum, which may be low in mice chow.
