So is that pretty much the status quo here when buying rapa? That would be so much easier! I didnt know that coming from peptide land where everything is tested, TWICE, at least in my neck of the woods.
Thanks so much for letting me know!

Exactly my thoughts. Focus on the sources that have some credibility - and avoid low tier manufacturers where you have to spend a ton of money to test and validate their product.

See this thread: Generally Good Indian Pharma Companies

Of course - if you are buying powdered chemicals from other sources for non-production, non-FDA approved “drugs” - for example ISRIB, then I think analytical chemistry testing is very important: Peter Walter, biochemist: ‘The ISRIB molecule could become a wonder drug’ (El Pais)

This is such a load off my mind! And yes, I would always buy name brand to be safest.

I think maybe peptides are a different breed as we buy them directly from labs, usually Chinese labs where they are made and then delivered directly to our group as the buyer, no middle man.

Either way, I am most grateful to you and to AgentSmith for taking the time to educate me on this. It is so nice when you learn something new and it makes life easier, not harder.

Have a great day! :grinning:
