I get health data from various sources, like Quest, LabCorp, dexa, etc. in addition, data comes in from various healthcare systems. I tediously transcribe these into an Excel spreadsheet for tracking over time. I can’t seem to find any software that can elegantly and easily do this for me, including nice looking graphs, etc. Maybe it’s a health data legal issue. I know Google dabbled in this space at some point then abandoned it. Does anybody here have good health data tracking software?
Thanks

It would be nice to find an integrated app @Ziegelhausen. A powerful and flexible step up from that could be business intelligence software, such as Microsoft Power BI. There is a learning curve but it is not too much beyond that of Excel (perhaps comparable to SPSS for those familiar). What I like about this kind of software, especially MS-PBI, is that it will attach to a wide range of data formats and that you can create derived variables consisting of weighted aggregations of any primary or other derived data series. Once you have attached your data sources, you can create almost any imaginable visual representation of the data. For most visual representations you can drill down into the underlying raw data by clicking on a single visual point. It can take months or longer to master Power BI but the skills required to do what we are discussing can be mastered in a few hours or days. Most of the BI applications are cloud based and available for a monthly fee that can be quite low for the modest use we are discussing. The visuals can represent up to 30,000 data points per screen or “report” which is likely far more than would be needed for generating a system to track health metrics in an integrated way. Another BI application I like is Tableau. Google’s foray into this kind of application is now Looker, which is said to be easier for simple visual representations but less powerful for in-depth characterizations and drill downs.

SelfDecode is a data tracker and more. It’s interesting at first. But it’s not free and I eventually stopped wanting to pay for a service I was bored with. Maybe it will work better for you.

Yes - I would like to find something better than a spreadsheet too. Let me know what you come up with. Some ideas from past discussions…
