That’s interesting as to the scfas used during ovulation. Citrate is added at fertilisation.

Chlorophyll is known to help reduce body odor, maybe that would be useful for this? You could increase intake of greens, it take a specific chlorophyll supplement.

I looked into this as higher testosterone also produces body odor, and being on TRT I want to avoid this. It did help for that.

A Simple Explanation for Old People Smell

There’s a more simple explanation for one typical kind of old people smell. It’s leaking ! Old people tend to leak…urine. Their bladder sphincters get weak and they leak into their underwear. It becomes such a regular thing for them, they get used to it.

And there is a distinctive smell, as you might guess.

Been there, done that.

Fortunately, there’s an equally simple solution: Kegel exercises. If you don’t know what they are… just Google an explanation. They strengthen the pelvic muscles and stop leaking. You can even download Apps to support daily exercises. And they do work quite quickly.

I hope that helps !

It’s true about the urine leakage. Even with my poor sense of smell I smelled plenty of it working in the medical field for 25 years. Nonenal is distinctly different though.

I’m thinking our skin biome might age similarly to our gut biome. I’ve been trying to give my gut biome plenty of food in the form of prebiotics from plant fibers and will continue. For the skin on my body I’ve just been using a cleanser and lotion recommendation from Michael Lustgarten’s book Microbial Burden to help maintain optimal pH and skin barrier. Hopefully this keeps it at bay.

A glass a day - of Kefir and Kombucha for your gut biome.

Very cheap because you use the last 15% to make the next batch.

Buy starter packs for each on the internet or eBay.

My digestion and bowels and tested inflammation levels have been great since I started a few years ago.

Fantastic! Thanks for the tips. I personally noticed a big difference from eating overnight oats with a little yogurt or kefir added and eating 2-3 pounds of a variety of vegetables and fruits each day.

It’s a good idea, but who will cover the expense for it? Or did you mean that an administrator could do it out of own pocket?

Mine too! I really cannot imagine skipping my morning kefir smoothie loaded with berries, hemp seeds, broccoli sprouts and cacao.

I’ve been in over 200… One time (the 90’s) in Boston I was out with one of our top sales people (all our sales people were RN’s) and as we walked in the door the smell of urine was hard to miss. She asked me “do you smell that”? yep I sure do, as I blinked my eyes… her reply “that’s the smell of money”…

It’s actually the smell of neglect and it is one of the main drivers of bed sores in the bed ridden elderly. This facility was generating over $20k a month in equipment rental for us, not to mention the cost of the dressings (other vendors), if they actually changed them as required.

This was the facility that caused me to make a pact with my wife,

use the pillow if I need to be institutionalized

Fortunately she won’t have that burden as we can use the MAID option now.

No worries. That’s awesome about the younger lady complimenting you on your looks!
Yeah, I’ll try to incorporate more positive language/compliments at the gym. Work on my love bombing skills lol.
That’s good he can use the scented candle there. Ahaha ya no doubt could turn
into a nightmare - scent wars. Would probably get a mix of good and bad scenarios.

@LaraPo Thanks. Correct, I was meaning that her husband cover it out of own pocket.
