Does anyone have any feedback on the Eris brand of Rapamycin, India origin. Thanks

I’ve not heard of either “Eris” or “Eric” brand of Indian pharmaceutical companies. We’ve had a discussion before on what brands that we might trust from India. See these posts in this thread: Rapamycin etc., Purchase Price Comparison Spreadsheet, and Issues Discussion - #38 by RapAdmin
Thanks, Eris Lifescience is a company listed on the stock exchange as far as I can tell. Market Rank is 30. RL Pharma is selling.
I would avoid them personally. As @adssx suggested “In this list I would only buy from companies that also sell in Europe and the US. Higher standards.”
So the short list I purchase from (assuming the medicine I want is available from these companies, which it usually is) are these companies in this post (other people may have different criteria than I do, so to each his own):

I bought some Rapacan as well that ended up being Eris Rapacan. So I asked Jagdish (others on here claim his legitimacy) about this change and he explained it’s the same Rapacan as Biocon. He said that Biocon was the previous marketing company but the company who manufactures Rapacan, Swiss Garnier Biotech Pvt Ltd, is the same company who just decided to go with a new marketing company called Eris.

Ah - good information! If this is the case I would not worry much about quality of the Biocon/Eris product.

@RapAdmin- Phew! Good to know! I just purchased some Rapacan from Eris. I see that these posts are from June 2024, I will go thru and read as much as i can on here regarding Eris and other places to buy from but would so appreciate being able to pick your brain about more current thoughts on Eris if possible. Thanks!

Just got my order of 360 rapa pills from Maulik Parekh who works for http://www.shreejiimpex.co.in/
I ordered on Jan. 2nd and it got to my PO on the 17th! The pills are from Eris (used to be Biocon?). I got a bit of a scare as i ordered 360 one mg. pills. which would be 36 blister paks of 10 each. Some of the blister paks came without the box which from my reading here isnt unusual as they try to pack everything tightly. Most were in the box.
Here is my FYI -
After counting I only had 32 paks of 10 pills so was 4 paks short. I emailed Maulik to let him know and ask what would be the easiest way to remedy this. He emailed me back within 10 minutes and told me to check inside the boxes as sometimes they stuck 2 blister paks in one box. I did that and found the missing 4 paks of 10. Phew! So let that be a lesson to you guys, lol. Always check inside your boxes to make sure they didnt double up on some of them.
Have a great night!

Yes, it’s always nervewracking when you take a new medication shipped from abroad. You wonder if you’re getting the real thing. I also bought the Eris Rapacan from Jagdish, and was quite worried when I broke the pills out of the blister pack and took a look at them. They were scored in the middle implying that they could be cut in half. But wait, if you cut them in half, won’t that obviate the necessary enteric coating? Unless, there is no enteric coating on these… and they don’t feel particularly slick as if coated, it doesn’t feel like there is any coating on them! And then, I took them; week one, 3mg on Saturday, week two, 4mg on Saturday, week three, 5mg on Saturday. I felt nothing, and observed no effects that I could tell. Are these for real, or alternatively, are these missing the enteric coating and therefore ineffective? And I bought a whole bunch, enough for years!
That’s how you can spin your wheels speculating getting nowhere. So I stopped wondering, and will continue taking them, because come March, I will get a whole bunch of blood work done, and included among the tests will be a test for sirolimus levels in the blood. That will answer at least the question “are these dummy pills”. More importantly, there will likely be more sirolimus blood tests necessary, so I can settle on the right dose (right - as I speculatively see it).

I’ll be interested to hear your results to “are these dummy pills”. I highly doubt they are, but I’ve never had them tested (I also take Eris Rapacan).

@CronosTempi Yes please do keep us posted re your sirolimus. @KiwiGuy- Were your pills scored? After reading Cronos Tempi’s post i opened one of my pills to find they are also scored.
Anyone else have scored pills? Would love to hear.
Yes, I will definitely post here once I’ve had my tests done, which should be late March, early April (I have some dental surgery coming up mid March, so I may get off rapa for it and wait a week or two before going on again and then get tested).
