We don’t have enough data yet to draw any firm conclusions… I’m just theorizing that larger quantity packages, and companies that clearly call out the “pharmaceutical” nature of the shipment, either through the company name or via the listing of products included in the package, likely have a higher rate of being identified. I’ve gotten some packages that identify the contents as “health products”, other that identify the contents as “medicine”. I’ve had no issues with either, but I assume the later draws more attention.

Before I managed to find a doctor to prescribe I had a shipment seized about three years ago.
I had my 1st order seized by Canada Customs but have had no issues since getting deliveries to Arizona.

I just received a shipment from Apple Pharmaceuticals, their name clearly stated on the label. I think seizures are random, kind of like the TSA deciding to swab your hands or luggage for traces of whatever. Security theater, customs theater… but agree with Admin that smaller quantities are less of a concern to customs.

Has anyone succeeded in providing oral or written testimony to the FDA regarding the admissibility of these articles, or the manner in which these articles can be brought into compliance?"
That would be a complete waste of time and a nonstarter.
The semi-official position is that you can import a 90-day supply with a prescription.
PERSONAL IMPORTATION OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS IS
RESTRICTED WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
n Three-month supply (90 days) limit
n Information needed for clearance:
Prescription from doctor responsible for treatment,
confirming that the drug is for consignee’s (person
named on prescription) personal use – must include:
drug name (trade/generic), quantity and dosage and
condition being treated"
I had a package opened by customs and they resealed it and sent it to me.
I think most any meds will pass customs unless there is a flagrant amount.
They don’t seem overly aggressive for anything except for controlled substances, LSD, narcotics, etc.

God, I wonder if one of the longevity doctors would be able to do this in
Danielle Ruiz is one though she doesn’t do my state
[i mean, if you were good friends with *any* doctor…]
Alex, did you get another package held up in Customs / FDA?
If you have an understanding / supportive doctor it might help get it released, but I’m not sure. I have yet to hear of anyone who has successfully gotten the package after getting the FDA letter.
Several years apart. I’ve had successful packages in between… my mistake was ordering too much. They said they’d do a reship, thankfully

Out of curiosity, what is “too much”. How many tablets total were you trying to bring in (of all medications total)? I really wonder how much is too much… we see some people ordering 1200+ tablets at once without issues, so I really wonder how risk increases with number imported.
Once I had an order held up at the same facility for 2 weeks. It was around the Christmas Holidays, but it finally came through.

They did a reship at last, but said “this is not something they normally do” and asked me to help compensate for half of the amount seized.
[will not name vendor to protect privacy]
What would you make of such a request?
Tbf, their costs are way lower than that of most.
Tech stocks really just crashed, so this may have to take time (and increments) if I do it, and I may say I have to do bloodwork first to see if what they do actually lowers my cholesterol and matches the product (which I didn’t do with Kachela)

I had a similar situation occur. I accepted an amount of “free” product as compensation. I also started splitting my order between two vendors after that.

I just received notice that my shipment of 90 1mg tablets of Sirolimus has been seized. I ordered it from India. I ordered Cynoplus and Cynomel from mexipharmacy.mx that I received.
Has anyone here had a similar experience?
Are there no avenues to receive my package?
It’s not like its some huge loss ($101).
From what I have read on this board it seems like there is no recourse.
Well I gave it a shot.
Hopefully RFK Jr. will radically alter this useless, captured agency.

Hi Tom and welcome to our forums. Much to my surprise some people have had success getting their shipment; see this post:

I just placed an order with Maulik today. He refused to send more than 900 pills as he said customs activity is getting more strict recently.
Has anyone else had problems recently?
There are two larger vendors that had to start routing shipments through the Middle East a few months ago because of an increase in seizures. Some have had to get up to 2 reships to get their meds.

Hi RapAdmin,
Thank you for your response. I will petition to have it released also. I wanted to upload the FDA letter to the board but I can’t figure out how to do it.
I will report on any further developments in trying to get my shipment.

I think it is random. My last 2 shipments each had items with 500 pills of the same, and in total >1500 pills. They made it through.
One of my patients feels his address is flagged and just send to another address and it went through fine. Random or not, might be an approach if have a seizure.

One thing that could be asked from the new government in the USA is to formally agree personal importation for personal use (including the family). Those are the rules in the UK and I am not aware of any problem with those rules.
