I’ve seen the “10x more effective” before (i’ve actually even seen 20x more effective but can”t remember where — hopefully not on a bottle of NACET). Bur i’ve never seen “10% the quantity”. Do you mean you take 10% of what you would have taken of NAc (but of NACET, at 10x the effectiveness, bit also 10x the price) to get the same amount of NAC equivalent (at the same price per NAV equivalent)?
Or am I misunderstanding?
Thanks, @DeStrider .
It’s just as you explained it.
I feel blessed and fortunate to have had jobs that I loved. As a kid I loved electronics. I have had a wonderful and colorful career doing things that I loved.
It didn’t make me rich, but I would do the thing over again.

You definitely are truly blessed!!! I love hearing that, so thanks for sharing!
I’m not the first to say this, but I agree with them that once one is able to have security, I really don’t think making even more money makes one happier. Doing what you love makes one filthy rich

Why not shoot the moon for everything?
A job you love, lots of money, good health, time with family and friends. That covers the bases.

I find it really unfortunate that these companies all decided to include 222% of the DV of Molybdenum in every NACET supplement. i can’t think of any reason to supplement molybdenum and risk a copper deficiency.

Yes, I was surprised to see that they all add Molybdenum. I didn’t even know what it was ! Is there any reason for it, and is it true it causes copper deficiency?

It can in high doses. I’m just not entirely sure what those doses would be

8 mg of glycine seems low.
Never mind. I see it was addressed above.
That’s because it’s amphetamine! Anyone who takes it at a high enough dose will get this feeling. I don’t understand the bizarre myth that Adderall only has an effect on people with ADHD . . . if you’re a human being and you take 20mg of amphetamine, you’re going to feel amazing.
From Wikipedia:
Currently, pharmaceutical amphetamine is prescribed as racemic amphetamine, Adderall, dextroamphetamine, or the inactive prodrug lisdexamfetamine. Amphetamine increases monoamine and excitatory neurotransmission in the brain, with its most pronounced effects targeting the norepinephrine and dopamine neurotransmitter systems.
At therapeutic doses, amphetamine causes emotional and cognitive effects such as euphoria, change in desire for sex, increased wakefulness, and improved cognitive control. It induces physical effects such as improved reaction time, fatigue resistance, decreased appetite, elevated heart rate, and increased muscle strength.

Ha, well touché!
Seriously though… I don’t really know much about it because I didn’t take it very long before the cardiologist ripped it out of my cold dead hands… but…
I was under the impression it has an upper effect for those without ADD. I dunno, but I was able to have a clear mind and could actually finish a task… but, I get by without it, so once I learned it was not healthy, I never looked back.

Oh no, it doesn’t at all . . . but that’s a common misconception! I wasn’t trying to put you down
And it’s actually not very unhealthy, as long as you keep it to therapeutic doses. People who are prescribed Adderall (usually) eat less, are more physically active and weigh less . . . which aren’t bad things. (It should absolutely be a prescription drug, though; it’s easy to abuse.)

How significant are the blood pressure and heart rate increase at therapeutic doses? Also is therapeutic considered something like 10mg?
I’ve used adderall maybe ten times all the way back when I was a college student to study for exams but that was long before I knew anything about health.

Hasn’t affected mine over the last three years I’ve been prescribed! Yes, therapeutic dose is anywhere from 10mg to 60mg per day.

I leaned the hard way that it is important to drink a big glass of water when taking NAC. Apparently, it is very acidic. Btw, has anyone noticed a reversal of presbyopia? I have been taking glynac and taurine on alternate mornings, and I think my eyesight is improving. Or perhaps it is all of the carrots and parsnips I’ve been eating.

Yes. I’ve noticed my eyesight is getting better, but I wasn’t sure what to attribute it to.

I’ll just share the couple of notes I took:
He takes 600mg per day … 1200 on occasion.
He said try not to take it with a lot of protein
Ideally take it on an empty stomach, but you might want to try taking it 30 minutes prior to a meal to avoid digestive issue.
I’ve been taking 100mg of NACET… I wonder how that compares to NAC.
And wow @Ray1 and DeStrider about your eyesight improving!
