@Daniel_Tawfik Saw this on FB just now, posted by Healthspan (gethealthspan.com). Autophogy? Funtion? Inflammaging? Wonder who drafted it and let it get posted to social media? Looks like it’s being run by techies from ZenPatient rather than people in the medical or scientific fields.

Hi @Daph, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have reached out to the marketing team to take this ad down. For context, our ads are run by a marketing agency, and this ad did not go through the proper review process before being published.
In terms of our team, I’d be happy to share some resources about our backgrounds and the reasons why we started the platform. I discussed the genesis of the company after my wife’s lymphoma relapsed, and my academic background, on an episode of the Wise Athletes podcast that you may enjoy:
Additionally, the Washington Post discussed a bit about our story as well, which can provide some additional context:
I hope this is helpful in providing some context about who we are and our motivation for starting Healthspan. Feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions you may have about Healthspan, the protocol, or any other concerns you might have. My email is daniel@gethealthspan.com

@Daniel_Tawfik I’m familar. My husband is a newer client. I researched your company ahead of time and had a video meeting with Shriya, as well as several messages with Jeff. We decided I’d stick with my doctors and my husband would try Healthspan, then we’d compare notes on your approaches. Yes, that ad definitely slipped through any kind of review process.

You’re right to be cautious and I’ll be staying with them too.
Daniel, from GHS personally addressed all of my concerns and let me know he’s improving customer service and messaging. I’m also leaving a separate updated post so others can know too.

@RapAdmin @Daniel_Tawfik - After communicating directly with Daniel who addressed my concerns, explained pricing and other things in detail, I’ve decided to stay with GetHealthSpan. I have upcoming labwork that I have to have at Quest Labs instead of Labcorp and they were very accommodating, even though they don’t have discounted pricing with Quest.
They’ve been very communicative since I’ve posted some concerns and I really appreciate it and will be staying with them rather than buying from India, since the personalized customer service is important to me.
Thank you to everyone who made suggestions, recommendations and general comments; you were all very helpful!

@Daniel_Tawfik I really like your service but unfortunately I’ve come across a glitch with my latest order (2 labs were paid for but I only need one). Who can I contact to sort things out? Is there an email or phone number?
I’m still impressed with your product offerings and website!

Hey Christopher, our apologies for this double charge. I let our engineering team look into the logs to see what caused the duplicate order so that it does not happen again. Also, I reversed both charges for the inconvenience you experienced. With that being said you can use both tests whenever you’d like—it’s on us. If you ever need any direct assistance, you can email me directly at daniel@gethealthspan.com. You can always email our support team at support@gethealthspan.com as well. I’ll shoot you an email right now as well.

I’m debating switching to a service like GetHealthspan (I’m currently buying from India).
Do the tablets have an enteric coating?
Do the blood tests they order include Sirolimus?
I recently sent an inquiry to their support email address (support@gethealthspan.com) what the ingredients of their oral rapamycin products were and if I could get a rapamycin product without some of the usual ingredients like titanium dioxide. They responded with the ingredients list of two products [that are known to have good bioavailability] and added “There is a possibility that they [their compounding pharmacy] can compound an enteric-coated capsule as well. We would need to confirm current availability and pricing. In addition to the active sirolimus, the capsule is filled with the inactive ingredient acidophilus lactobacillus.”
I asked “Would it be possible for your pharmacy to compound a rapamycin tablet or capsule with an enteric coating other than one containing phthalates or shellac? I would prefer an enteric coating made of sodium alginate, zein, or an acid-resistant cellulose compound that does not dissolve until two hours after ingestion.”
They responded “Looks like we aren’t going to be able to provide this, sorry. The pharmacy can’t guarantee a consistent capsule as they sometimes change depending on inventory. Sorry we couldn’t make it work.”
You may be happy with their two standard products that are known to have good bioavailability. I wasn’t comfortable with all their ingredients. (I’m picky.)
