The challenge for me is that all my meals are high in fiber. I’m unsure whether fiber will bind and reduce absorption.

Then try a fatty snack of sardines or put the pills in a shot of EVOO like I do.

If I just eat with olive oil I have a huge bloating. I will try with some nuts.
Thanks

I highly doubt it. Rapamycin does not bind with fiber. It is more likely to be destroyed by the stomach acid.

Do you have any scientific paper for that?
Thanks

I can only tell you by my blood test results… that is all… I eat everything… so fiber, meat…etc. My blood work is very consistent and predictable… as for scientific papers, you have to find that one… lol. I only care about my blood test.
I eat a whole grapefruit (or pomelo) and take half 1 hour or more before rapamycin and half at the same time.
I have not measured serum rapamycin as I measure the outcomes and it is hard to get a lab to measure it.

Just made dinner. Getting ready for my rapamycin tonight. 600g of rib eye with mushroom and cream sauce lol
Next time half the serving. This is what too much. Wish my wife was home to help me.

I get Rapapro as I like that formulation, so it is primarily to conserve the supply as it is a bit of a pain to order from them. Having my meds last so much longer is great. I could just do 12-14 mg q14 days but instead I’ll stick with my 4 mg q14 days.

Hi John - I found this Sirolimus test now available privately in the UK - £125 but discounts available:

Thanks for that. I have used this group once for Lithium. I didn’t know they did Rapamycin. To some extent I am testing outcomes against dosing, but it would be good to have an idea as to serum levels. I don’t intend taking Rapamycin now until 2025.
They do blood draws in Solihull. What I need to do is to line up a testing sequence in January. I want first to see what my blood glucose dynamics are and I have a CGM lined up to do that.

Re the CGM - you might be interested in the Glucose Direct app. It’s’free’ (for a donation) and reads every minute - unlike the usual apps. Works with phone and watch. Unlikely to ever be out of beta and often you need to wait for a user space however I noticed the other day they have a few available. Very easy to set up - I use Libre 2 plus.
Maybe try it out - join the fb group:
