How would he know that he inhibited IL-11 in his body? Did he manage to get his blood IL-11 levels tested somewhere?

IL-11 Research Update
We have some good news concerning our N-of-1 trial to find the best natural promotor of IL-11 cytokine inhibition. It was recently found that inhibiting IL-11 might have profound anti-aging effects. You can read about the study here:
Inhibition of IL-11 signalling extends mammalian healthspan and lifespan | Nature
In a process similar to what was used while developing NEUROmergence®, we’ve been experimenting with various natural compounds thought to inhibit IL-11. Utilizing Western blotting, one compound and one combination of two compounds were tested, each with three samples, over two 30-day periods (with 15 days in between test compounds). Our first set of tests utilized pure Osthole at 90mg/kg, and unfortunately, it exhibited little to no effect. These results were similar to another study, where it was found that the bioavailability of pure Osthole, after oral administration, was extremely low. Yet another study, on the medicinal properties of a traditional Chinese prescription known as Bushen Yizhi, it was discovered that Osthole’s effectiveness was due to the combination with other herbs in the formulation, specifically Schisandrin B. So, for the second set of tests, we combined oral Schisandrin B and Osthole, and we were able to identify a much more noticeable impact on IL-11 levels over the 30 day period. This experiment has brought us much closer to developing a supplement that could potentially support the inhibition of IL-11 levels.*
Pure Osthole is not an FDA-compliant ingredient, and neither is Schisandrin B. So now our challenge is to develop one extract standardized to a high percentage of Osthole, most likely Cnidium monnieri or Angelica pubescens, to combine with another extract high in Schisadra B. Interestingly, Schisandra is not the only herb that contains Schisandra b. Finally, we would need to determine a ratio that is both safe and palatable for the supplement market, then retest for IL-11 inhibition, similar to what we did with NEUROmergence®, which involved testing its ability to promote inhibition of protein kinase enzymes that are also dasatinib targets. There is a possibility that we will instead offer an IL-11 support tincture, should it demonstrate favorable results, which leads us to our next update!

This is what he said in the Reddit thread.
Test kits for IL-11 can be easily found:
IOCyto Detect™ IL-11 Human ELISA Kit - Creative Biolabs
Here is what I am thinking. I will test my IL-11 and IL-6 levels with no supplements for 30 days, then try a daily combination of Osthole, Lutein, and Stinging Nettle, with the same preparation and dosage used in these studies, to see if I can produce an inhibitory effect of IL-11, without decreasing my IL-6 levels. I’m not a big fan of in vitro when these substances have already proved to be safe.

Thanks for the info. That individual must have drawn his own blood to test this.
Sorry, but I don’t follow missing biohackers’ advice. I’ll wait for something more reputable.

Have you looked into empagliflozin? It has anti-fibrotic properties and is known to protect the kidneys.

Thanks alot for the links to the Reddit thread, some very interesting info and speculation there - both from compucolor1 and the thread poster - Better_Cupcakes.
compucolor1 responded to a Reddit thread 3 days ago so I don’t think he’s missing. I looked at his company site.

Looks interesting, never heard of it but his posts on Reddit look reasonable.
Are you saying that you don’t get a response from the website contact?
I would like to get an update on their IL-11 inhibitor experiments, I’ll try emailing them.
Interesting that both of them seemed concerned about inhibiting IL-6 along with IL-11 but noted that that might only be a concern if you are young.
Latest study on IL-11 inhibition as a cancer treatment.
https://www.nature.com/articles/s41698-025-00913-w#Sec9
There have already been several attempts to target IL-11 for cancer treatment, one example being the IL-11 mutein, which exhibited 20 times higher affinity to the IL-11 receptor than that of its wild-type counterpart, and effectively suppressed IL-11/STAT3 activation38. Consistent with our findings, IL-11 mutein has demonstrated efficacy in treating multiple tumors in gastric and colon xenograft models32. In comparison, 9MW3811, as a monoclonal antibody, is expected to have a long half-life, as demonstrated in our pharmacokinetic studies, making it a more convenient option for clinical administration.
In summary, based on compelling preclinical evidences, 9MW3811 shows promising potential as a monotherapy, particularly in combination with anti-PD-1 therapy. Currently undergoing phase 1 clinical trials for safety and tolerability (NCT05740475 and CTR20231721), 9MW3811 holds promise for advancing cancer treatment paradigms.

You’re right, he replied recently. I sent him a private message and he didn’t respond, and there’s also been no reply on his website. If you manage to get in touch with him, please let me know.

I’m taking a very similar medication: Forxiga.
