yes, just used it - some interesting insights
They have also volunteered to examine all my data (blood and DNA test results) and give me more insight

@Paul Thanks for the feedback. Are you planning to keep getting tested to track progress? I’m leaning towards doing it for additional biomarker feedback and tracking of changes over time.

Do they not normally give you the data?

yes, they provided data. Seems like they are running a beta trial to combine their data with other data and see if additional insights or correlations exist

yes, they made some specific recommendations for diet, activity and supplements. I have some issues with my microbiome they picked up (long term use of NSAID’s probably to blame) and so I want to track if I am improving

@Joseph_Lavelle did you ever end up pulling trigger on this?
@Paul have you continued to find value?
What top 3 or so new markers have you found valuable? Seems interesting how it gives a picture of taurine levels and other amino acids.
Trying to decide if I should do a one off test and then evaluate… or invest in their quarterly plan (for a while)

@Neo Not yet. I am still interested but just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

Got it. I just pulled the trigger y day. They have a small Black Friday thing going on, coupon BF30
Rather than commit to quarterly I bought one and then a second one separately and used the promo code once for each.
Partially interested in their amino acid tests, including to see my taurine levels… ahead of perhaps starting to supplement that.

I tested with Iollo. I really wanted to like this I got excited at the thought that over 600 tests they advertise would finally help provide some useful info on the metabolic derangements for some complex medical conditions and symptoms- all with just one easy blood test from home!! I have CFS and Sjogren’s disease and mast cell activation syndrome. After waiting a few weeks for results I eagerly looked at results. The health report was 58 pages long oh boy! But as i started reading through it , my hear or head sank. It was like getting socks for Christmas. Where’s the 500 results. There were 45 only. And they were an odd collection of things, many of which you can get elsewhere , like amino acids. The restvwere an odd mixture that never let you get to the bottom of everything. The report was misleading focussing mostly on the very things you answered on the required questionnaire (with no options skip questions). Did they think I did’t know my eating lots of simple carbs increases m chances of assortee diseases. The reults of the blood work were an afterthought. And when you finally got to them, they would often say “optimal” when they were not optimal at all- often way to low- just not elevated so not flagged because one study they site elevated x puts you at risk for say Alzheimers Markers are not explained well in terms of what they reflect for mechanism ir whate happening. I stead they just say one brief phrase like this is an intermediate in fat metabolism and studies show an increase is associated with development of heart disease. It is not geared for the self-hacker. Plan to spend hours researching on your own what these results really mean, after which you find that’s not what you’re interested in. Their AI chat you can access is not as good as Chat GPT.
What about the remaining 550 results? Well technically they do give them to you so perhaps a judge would say it’s not false advertising. But they don’t give you any info to go with them so what can you do with numbers like Beta Alanine 1.512 uM when you are not Given info on whether thats high, low, near the mean etc. Or how about thatHydroxysphingomyelin C24:1 is 2.747?withoutvany units showed And its not like you can look it up anywhere because only data on normal values exist for serum or plasma, not blood dried from a microtainer. And even if they were, apparently every lab is different so you can use them.
Maddening! Would anyone really pay 400-500 dollars if they knew in advance only 45 markers are actually given and a superficial analysis at that . L? My former professor is trying to get these many numbers analyzed (the 550 unreported results) but apparently getting nowhere. This part was like getting a giant tv as a present, only to find the power cord was cut off and cannot be replaced) also found the aging report very misleading- at the level where quackwatch and other oversight groups may want to know about it. For example, when it said these markers mean you’re aging slower -great!!well when you look at them i see these are low numbers onlyb because I know from other tests and and symptoms that am not absorbing proteins and fats! It the context of everything, its a sign of illness, not a sign of slower aging! No one is minding the store. It’s all AI generated with no fact checking and no integrating the big picture of what’s going on
This test probably will get pushed by second rate greedy alternative medicos and appeal to desperate folk who are happy with superficial soundbites (or don’t realize they are and trust their provider)
This technology has potential but in someone’ else’s hands. These folks just seem all about greed Incidentally they don not seem to care about accuracy of the numbers but that’s a whole other story. And yet another story is their AII generated suggested ways to fix the various problems detected are sometimes nuts, including sending me on a wild goise chase to find a particular nutrition shake that does not and has never existed
A complete waste of time, money, and stres

Hi. Stay tuned tho. While iollo intentionally withheld what was needed to make use of the data, I see that someone here has posted their raw data files. If enough people do that, we can start to create our own reference ranges and comparison stats. Still doesn’t address quality so do not yet know if will be worth the time. If anyone else does test, I would recommend returning the sample by overnight mail. Mine was in transit for 6 days and likely there was degradation of some analytes even though dried. The kit includes a temperature sensor (great idea!) but they did not bother to check the data when the package arrived. Whatever scientists were initially involved in making sure this was an accurate test seem to have long handed it over to those who only care about maximizing their profit (which is apparently why they will not reveal their “proprietary” (we were told) reference ranges.
