I add MB to a few ounces of orange juice, stir and drink it through a straw. Taste is not bad. I don’t mind the blue tongue; it fades away after awhile.
This is the one I use, it is so messy otherwise. Yes there is some vitamin C with it, but I don’t see a huge reason for concern with that in regard to how it is packaged, primarily with cocoa.

I also found a tablet version without vitamin C, but it’s ridiculously expensive:
I’m happy with the one I’m using, I’ve got methylene blue powder and put it into jello – but still got tooth/tongue staining.
Additionally if you had the appropriate equipment, can certainly blend and thoroughly mix some methylene blue powder in with cocoa powder and sort out the math to get 10-12 mg per capsule.
The compounding pharmacies absolutely hate when they are willing to put this into capsules, they usually do so with the liquid. It completely messes up their lab and stains everything.

He did a very balanced review on it. Basically, that human studies on MB showed mixed results and risks are real.
Personally, I have used a very small dose intermittently when I’m tired (like when I take my rapamycin or sick) as it seems to give me nootropic boost.

Yea I’d say it was rather balanced.
I like to listen to people with personal experience who are using it too. There are so many people at this point who take it and I mostly hear positive things from them. Even if it doesn’t improve lifespan, the cognitive feeling people get from it could make it worth the price of admission if used responsibly.
I’ll probably try it at some point.

I use MB regularly. My thought process was to be confident it wouldn’t harm me. After all it is a synthetic dye invented in the 19th century.
That said, I started by listening and reading what I could find. Once I found an MD who recommended it to his patients (I interviewed Dr Scott Scher), I decided to try just a tiny dose.
From there I have gotten comfortable that I’m in no serious danger with the low doses I take a few days a week.
It is a mitochondrial booster. Feeling exhausted, MB. Feeling “something” coming on (virus), MB. Brain fog but too late for caffeine, MB. Feeling a bladder infection brewing, MB.

Thank you, dear Joseph, for the interview with Dr. Scott Scher. After listening to it, I gave it a try and experienced a very pronounced effect on brain fog - just like you. I can hardly recall any nootropic I’ve tried that had such a significant effect. SO, now I will observe effect / tune right dosage / make blood tests in a couple of weeks.

Awesome! It’s one of the only supplements that I feel anything plus it’s a wide ranging cure-all for me. It almost makes me believe in magic.
Others:
Melatonin
Niacin
Creatine - slight effect
Lithium orotate - slight effect
Rapamycin

Alright I’m convinced. I’m going to order some. Just have to decide where. I quit my daily modafinil experiment so lll give MB a go in its place. I guess I’ll try 10mg.

Get ready to wake up to a blue urine stream.
I highly encourage use of Vitamin C in it… pre- dosing to take down the intense blue color and staining.
Surprisingly… the blue returns in your urine… been using every few days. Seems fine. Made a batch to last for a while… about a 3rd of a bottle per dose.

The doc says, if you don’t feel anything and have pale blue or clear urine, to increase the dose until you get a solid blue pee. My pee is very blue starting about 3-4 hours after I take it …and for about 24 hours afterwards.

Probably the supplement isn’t good. Try the liquid with an eye dropped…I just put the fluid at the back of my throat. No blue teeth or tongue.
Here’s one I use.

Oh, I didn’t realize a non blue mouth was even an option!!
Tomorrow I’ll take a couple of my pills to see what happens, but if I can’t get a pretty blue, I’ll try that!!
EDIT:
Fwiw, this is what I have been taking. @DrFraser has recommended it in other posts, so I assume if there is an issue with mine, it’s a flukey bottle? Grant, do you have smurf pee?
