Sponsored Omaveloxolone (RTA-408) - It is also NRf2 like sulforaphane hopefully
I would not expect HDAC inhibitors such as ECGC to do that well in C Elegans

I’m in touch with them regularly. They’ll update the leaderboard in a few days/weeks.

How do we convert worm doses (µM) to mouse (ppm) or human (mg/kg)?

Sponsored more nrf2 stuff. Bardoxolone was already sponsored, but I
Sponsored Oltipraz and Sponsored Bardoxolone methyl
It appears no one has sponsored Spermidine? That is surprising…

Spermidine has had very “mixed” results already in mice, so going back and testing it in nematodes doesn’t seem to make a ton of sense to me.

Just because regular spermidine isn’t absorbed in mice doesn’t mean you couldn’t use a lipomosal or other version. It seems like perhaps it is converted to spermine by the gut which has some beneficial effects even though no spermidine makes it into the blood/cells. There are two version of spermine which are in Ora library. Also, it looks like someone actually is testing one of the spermidine variants now…
@EverVital the funny thing is that is the artificial vanilla that people generally say would not be as good for you as the “real” thing
. Although natural vanillin is in vanilla the synthetic version is generally not derived from the plant it seems

sponsored Melatonin and Betaine (TMG) and alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E).
FYI, I saw a paper that sulforphane + vit E was very effective antioxidant in C. Elegans. If it does well it’s worth trying that combo Thieme E-Journals - Experimental and Clinical Endocrinology & Diabetes / Abstract

Nice try. I think even if vanillin is good, all the other stuff in vanilla ice cream would send it the other way.

Wow, so curcumin actually turns into vanillin?

I thought you might be a fan of melatonin getting tested
but you also wont alter your stack anyway no doubt.
I am continually making changes to my stack and testing. The test results and hypotheses drive the changes.

I’m trying to see which pathway does Vanilla affect because I don’t need another NRF2 activator, but surprise surprise, it touches everything!!
What an amazing molecule:

Hear me out:
Lifespan Extending Vanilla Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 1 gallon BB12 yogurt (smuggled from Japan)
- 100g glycine (for sweetness)
- Vanillin (enough to achieve 50µM concentration)
- Vanilla bean, powdered (for show)
Directions
- Mix all ingredients slowly so as not to stress out the BB12 culture
- Follow Yogurtland process to freeze into frozen yogurt
Servings: 6, or 1 if you’re breaking a long fast
Goes well with: other palid foods, like skinless sardines in EVOO, or microwaved shitake mushroom; or if you’re @Agetron, goes well with steak and potatoes, like any other food.

Synthetic or natural vanilla, which one did they use in the study?
From what I see, they use Vanillin, the synthetic product.

Natural vanilla is a lot more expensive
