I tried 20IE without noticing anything, after this first try, I always used 50IE post workout sub q in the belly area. Never tried an other spot. Warm feeling only last maybe 5 minutes

I’m nearing the end of a month-long break. I wasn’t necessarily interested in cycling, although it is recommended. I just got weary of poking myself. Besides, the beneficial effects don’t subside, at least for me, during a sabbatical.

It seems like the most common way to use Oxytocin is via nasal spray. I’ve seen in several studies that 2 to 4 sprays a day is not uncommon. Which is much nicer than 2 to 4 pokes per day
How much is in a spray? it depends… so knowing the dose per spray is important.
Oxytocin has a very short half life of 3 minutes. When it’s used clinically an IV drip is typical due to this fact.

I get that!! I’ll occasionally stop all pokes for a couple days, typically on the weekend.

Oxytocin and tinnitus
I’ve had tinnitus for over 25 years. It’s part of my life, not terribly concerned about it so it doesn’t have a psychological grip on me as it does with many people with this condition.
In 2014, I started working in the broadcast audio market for a small high tech manufacturer Q5X, specifically wireless audio (the big dogs in this are Sennheiser and Shure). One of my functions was in the dev area and part of my function involved critical listening during the R&D process, production QC and product in for repair. As an audiophile I have done a lot of critical listening but this was a whole new world. I had good mentors from the broadcast industry to teach me what to listen for. It’s much different from what I had learned as an audiophile.
In 2015 (5 years into my tinnitus experience) I had my hearing checked just to see if I was missing anything. The audio tech ran the test at the clinic and after it finished she asked if we could do it again. So we did. After the second test I asked her why 2 tests? Her reply was the first time I’d heard this phrase used in reference to me “for a man your age” she used it like this, “you have exceptional hearing … for… and I wanted to make sure the test as accurate”
I have mixed up an Oxytocin nasal spray and did 3 sprays 15iu x 3 = 45 iu. I put the 45 iu in google and it found references to this dose being the dose used in several trials related to tinnitus, 45iu 3 times a day.
So I’m going to give it a go
Some good info on tinnitus
A patent - one aspect is a “thickener” I’d consider adding a bit of hyaluronic acid to my mix as it will help moisturize the nasal passages and 'hold" the suspension in place (the nasal passage) a bit longer. I did this with my NAC+Bromelain+HA spray in 2020

Please keep us updated on your experiment @Steve_Combi! I have recently gone crazy over intranasal delivery for various peptides as I much prefer it over pinning daily.

There is some evidence that Oxytocin helps combat various types of fatigue/brainfog. This would include post-viral chronic fatigue, and potentially long-covid, etc.
I know it helps calm the effect of cortisol, and promotes sleep.
I take it, and I believe it helps me with my chronic fatigue, but It may be a placebo effect.

Steve,
Very interesting. I have been suffering from tinnitus that seemed to have increased over the past few months. I have started taking 50IUs Oxytocin and have noticed a considerable improvement in how noticeable my tinnitus has been. Until you posted, I had no clue that Oxytocin could be helpful.

Me either, had no idea until I put > 45iu oxytocin < in the search bar LoL! I had accidentally taken that dose and was interested to see if that is low, medium or high dose.
A total fluke to find that.

I don’t know the price. They require prescription. Where do you buy yours?
Mine is diy gray market, 25iu and runs about $5 per 200 sprays.
You can also get it from Healthspan:
