I have no done it, no. But yes, everything I’m seeing online seems to agree that should be checked. I did ask my parents and they aren’t aware of having it, but they’ve never done the test either. Dad did mention high iron levels run in the family.

It is an inexpensive test, I would suggest you have it run. Especially if you have a family history!
