I take (based on, but not identical with, I think, what @DrFraser suggested in the past) 8oz (~256cc) GFJ 3 hrs prior to taking rapa, then 4 oz (~118cc) at the time of taking it. I also have an EVOO chaser (~2T). I dose every fortnight.
I have a ‘stash’ of about one yr left, ergo the GFJ. I keep them in the refrigerator.

How long does rapamycin as Sirolimus in pill form last? Is it unchanged and usable if 2 years old, 3 etc. Just want to know how much to try to stockpile if I can.

Hello Powe.
As long as kept cool and dry in a dark place - rapamycin seems to have a very, very long shelf-life. I am using zydus that is 3-years old, full potency when I check it through a LABCORP blood test. I am getting 3 ng/mL per 1 mg pill. Top effectiveness.
It’s long effectiveness was proven decades ago by Surendra Nath Sehgal - his rapamycin was at full potency after 5-years in a freezer.

Why Ketoconazole as opposed to simply using grapefruit juice, which should be safer and probably just as effective?
Yes it absolutely does matter. While 200 ml will increase bioavailability quite a lot in many people, to be more certain of getting a strong effect it’s advisable to take 300-400 ml. For some people, 200 ml will only have a small effect or even no effect at all! Note that taking more is very safe because there is only so much that you can inhibit the CYP3A4 enzyme. Once you reach close to maximal inhibition, more juice won’t increase the bioavailability any further.

I have been taking itraconazole for it, I m dirt poor & everyone in my house is on rapamycin so cost compounds. I m taking 3mg after 1 hour of Itraconazole. Itraconazole is better than ketaconazole & have fewer side effects & chances of liver toxicity, also do remember that Armodafinil is also primarily metabolized by the CYP3A4 enzyme in the liver, once I took it on the day of rapamycin day with itraconazole & basically I was locked in for 40 hours straight, so do research all the drugs you take with its interactions with gpt5 to be on the safer side

I just received an order for 3 mg Sirolimus from India. $245 for 250 tablets includes shipping. That cost per pill makes taking the drug a lot more manageable…

Did you make the order after the shutdown of shipping from India - or is this one of the orders done afterwards and actually made it through the new system ?

The package was sent via the UAE. I assume that’s how the vendors are getting around the new Trump tariffs with India. Shipping was $55 out of the $245 total, but still well worth it…

I can confirm that shipping from India via UAE seems to be the workaround. Will be extra for shipping though - I am working through that right now with a vendor there.
