Sorry to hear customs stopped your Oddways shipment. I kept my orders quite small (US$200-300 worth) and all 3 shipments came through without any problems.

Hi there. No unfortunately no luck anywhere. Oddways are great in that they first tried again, and then refunded my money when it was stopped the second time. So given that some people have got it in, I would definitely try. Goodluck. Will be interested to hear what happens. D

Also getting orders from India confiscated by NZ MedSafe. First couple were successful but subsequent small shipments have been stopped. Does anyone have insight into how NZ customs scan/test/track shipments? Or suggestions for increasing delivery success? Confirmed with a pharmacist that Australian scripts are not valid in NZ. Hoping that the sclerotic NZ medical industry will catch up sooner or laterā€¦

@johngreen49, @Dionne, @jnlott, @McMuffin, @kinesys I donā€™t know if you have seen that Brad Stanfieldā€™s Rapamycin trial in NZ is enrolling patients. So for the people who have difficulty getting it in NZ then a way to get it is to participate in the trial. Here is a link to enrollment page

I actually e-mailed Brad about participating in this when I first heard of it a couple of years ago, but when I was last in touch (about 18 months ago) he said he still hadnā€™t obtained enough funding, but this looks to be a bit more official - thanks for drawing my attention to it. Will definitely check he still has me on his list!

Hi all.

I am a 54 year old male and after 2 years of research and finally finding out the dosage and regularlity that Peter Attia takes (revealed on recent podcast with Andrew Huberman where they discussed NR, NMN, and NAD primarily) i have decided to pull the trigger and start Rapamycin. Any Doctor can prescribe it off-label but its called (going from memory here) an Annex F drug which means the Doctor carries some professional responsibility personally and has to be able to justify this course of action. Typically they write a paper to medical counsel first so that when the naysayers complain, the Dr is covered. My Dr is very pro-longevity and so he has committed to doing it. Once this process is done and I am up and running I will post here again.

Welcome to the community! What region do you live in?
Iā€™m an AU GP, did 9 years in QLD before returning to the U.S. Primarily worked EM, but well familiar with the GP role.
There is a lot more control and regimentation in AU, and also a very low threshold for doctors to file a complaint to AHPRA for any deviation in care.

Iā€™d not be brave enough to practice longevity medicine in AU, as Iā€™d almost certainly be in front of the medical board weekly - and they do not mess around.

Hopefully your GP has a decent way to accomplish this while flying beneath the radar of folks who would love to report anyone not running strictly along the party line.

I was just wondering what you considered to be the ideal dose, and also where you are based (NZ or Australia)?
Iā€™ve also been considering Rapamycin for the last two years and am 57. Now keen to start taking it and am trying to establish a source of supply in NZ, if you have any suggestions theyā€™d be most welcome :slight_smile:
