I’m from Norway, so the likelihood of that is quite low. Any fellow Norwegian can DM me for confirmation. Unlike OpenAI and Google Translate, I’m proficient in both forms of our language. Haha.

Why is there a Russian person with exactly your username Bezesk? That was the first result…

Well, it stands for ‘doctor’ in Farsi.

…“undertones of antisemitism”…

More like Russophobia.

Please… lets not get into ad hominum attacks or accusations unrelated to the science at hand.
Focus on the science, and the data, not on the people.

Everyone here is trying to get the best information out for discussion that we can find.

The eye drops manufacture by MITOTECH "VISOMITIN"® have
0.155mg/mL){sold in the EU and Russia)

The copied SkQ1-bromide solution from “mirolab”{a member of this forum posted this company on this thread, look above this posting] is 1.3mcg/per drop* in the mirolab SKQ1-bromide solution.

I can also tell you as a person who has used the eye drops on and off over the years, the real version from MITOTECH the "VISOMITIN"® product has no preservative. As per the manufacturer should be refrigerated and used within 24 days of opening.

The version offered mirolab has “small amount of citrate” as a preservative, this is from mirolab web page on the product.

  • There is no information on how many mL a drop from the dropper used is.

I am not the waiting type.

No, it’s not.

The Companies Corporate Office is in Luxembourg.

Still being sold in the EU.

No, there is no medical approval for SKQ1, VISOMITIN, nor is it sold anywhere in EU.
So remove those statements as they are false.

Well… we all know here that just because something is being sold somewhere doesn’t mean its legal. But please provide links to the corporate office in luxembourg and websites its being sold if you know of them.

I can only find it being sold in Russia (of course, you may be able to order it there and have it shipped to the EU): https://www.ecrater.com/p/40150537/set-2x5-ml-visomitin-skq-1

Ultimately for many of these types of things, the risk/reward is pretty low on the scale of things. You may waste $30, but its not the end of the world either way.

There was a joint development agreement announced about 5 years ago - but not sure if anything came from it:

There is the ethical problem of it indirectly funding the Russian war machine via taxes too. In EU we go out of our way to boycott companies that deal with ruzzia, the war is close to home for us as it’s on our continent. RT is completely banned in the entire EU as well. So many people are dying in Ukraine on both sides right now. But I won’t discuss this further as it’s not really on topic.

Not that difficult to locate.

I do not have any desire or interest in having a conversation/discussion involving geopolitics.

Do not take my reply/question the wrong way.

As without looking to hard their are well over six different sites to purchase {have pages showing] this product for sale.

Do you really want links/posting of sites that sell/list SkQ1 /VISOMITIN® for sale because you can not locate?

Seems Essex Biotechnology acquired right for ophthalmology.

Essex Bioinvestment Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Essex Biotechnology, on 13 October 2022 secured a series of agreements related to patents and know-how for SkQ1, an active pharmaceutical ingredient, developed by Mitotech S.A. Under these agreements, Mitotech grants Essex Bioinvestment worldwide rights to develop, manufacture and sell SkQ1-based therapeutic products in the field of ophthalmology.

the Russian website also has a list of clinical trials and where products were approved for market. I used google translate

https://skq-one.translate.goog/pipeline/?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp

seems company is also interested in skin rejuvenation

and I am appalled by Russophobia expressed on this subject.

Mitotech is/was also working on an;

“INJECTION FORM OF SKQ1 - DRUG “MITOTECH-19” TO PREVENT THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SEVERE FORM OF COVID-19 (RUSSIA)”

Above from Mitotech web site.

From my own research{from many years back] one of the many patents
awarded to Skulachev was an IV formulation.

As that was and still is my interest in SkQ1, for my own personal use.

You see what you want to see.

Let’s stick to the topic.

The article posted by Bezesk lists Daniel Edgar as the fifth author. The credentials show Buck Institute. If one searches for Daniel Edgar and Buck Institute, you get the page below:

https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Daniel-Edgar

Listed among his publications is the paper on SKQ1. So maybe an inquiry can be sent to him at Buck Institute.
