She will most likely sue Pfizer for her stroke despite not even being vaccinated. Those people operate on troll logic.
This is a really stupid n=1. Everyone who gets a stroke is on some diet, even vegan.
“Does veganism increase risk of stroke?
Can a Vegetarian Diet Increase Stroke Risk? What to Know
The bottom line. Recent research finds people eating a vegetarian or vegan diet have a reduced risk of coronary heart disease, but an increased risk of a particularly dangerous kind of stroke.”

It’s interesting. I just saw a reference to a 1960s body builder and “trainer of the stars”, Vince Gionda. What I didn’t know is that he himself at steak and eggs as his only meal for years (like nine months a year for decades). So in a sense, aside from cultures like the Inuit and the Masai, he was an early carnivore practitioner. He was very fit, well-muscled/chiseled, and considered a “specimen”, arguably to near his death. However, he died at 79 from a series of mini-strokes and then a big one. So what’s the lesson here from this n=1? That a mainly carnivore is doable and healthy for decades? That the carnivore diet can lead to CVD (and really ASCVD)? That he was in perhaps optimal physical/athletic shape and still died early?
What I read from this is that being athletic is a massive positive (and perhaps is a defense against cancer — at least keto is thought to be), but ASCVD is a real significant risk. So I’d guess that if one can manage this risk (lowering LDL, cleaning out system of plaque, etc) that this can be an effective longevity solution. F not, (or if it is a lousy defense against cancer) this isn’t likely to be a good longevity solution.

Looking amazing at 60 years. And, no rapamycin!

Based on all I have read and researched I have come to the conclusion (obviously not 100%, still open to changing my opinion) that what may work well for men, it may not work so well for women. To that end I tend to believe that a vegan diet is probably good for a woman, but may not be so good for an aging man. Obviously I have no scientific proof or concept to validate such observation, but I mainly come to this conclusion because in many of the experiments done in anti aging field the benefits vary widely between the sexes. Also, when I look at men that are vegan and in their late years (over 60) I feel they look weak and somewhat pale (I.e Trump vs Clinton same age, Clinton being vegan looks kind of weak even though it may work well for his health and longevity, while Trump I hear stuffs his mouth with burgers daily but looks strong and robust. You can easily guess the winner if you were to match them in a cage fight lol)
So for little I know I’m convinced that animal protein is good for men in general especially old men. I do however prefer protein that comes from wild caught fish to that of animals. But if I were to have animal protein I prefer organic stake and or wild game from hunting.

Trump is using rosuvastatin. This way he can keep eating burgers (protein) at his age without dying.

Animal protein (or his overall diet habits) was definitely not good for Trump - he looks unhealthy physically (obese, fat instead of muscles). He’s also very pale when not wearing his makeup. I wonder if his unhealthy diet also affected his mental capacity. Cannot imaging him winning in a cage fight

Anything can happen in a cage fight but trust me on this one-against Clinton. Not even e close match. You are right I would not consider Trump as an ideal healthy over 70 year old man but he does look strong and has a lot more energy than some people in his age category, in this case Clinton. Watched Clinton and an interview lately and he does look feel and behave like an old man, basically his age. Even his voice was a little trembling to my surprise. Again he may outlive Trump because of lifestyle choices of each, but my observation was only related to strength and energy. You can say many thing about Trum (good or bad depending on if you like him or hate him) but one thing you cannot say for him is that he looks weak and has no energy. I’m 20 years his junior and would love to have his energy (not his weight nor looks btw lol)

Opinions are definitely subjective. IMO he does look weak and even mentally challenged. I don’t see the energy you see. I though don’t compare him to Clinton (who had his CV problems) but rather to other men of his age that I know in real life… And he doesn’t win the comparison.

Objectively speaking, Trump doing rallies in his mid-70s does show that he’s physically in good shape even for a Russian puppet.

Clearly we are not talking about same person lol. I leave feelings (like or don’t like someone) at bay when discussing health (in this case). FYI one night before the last election he did 7 stops (first ever for any president any age) in one day. Started early in the morning I think in Florida and ended at midnight in Midwest somewhere. That’s real energy if you ask me. I don’t know about anyone else but I can definitely tell you that I would NOT be able to do 7 stops 2 hours each rallies and I’m 20 years younger, I’m very strong (probably in top 1% or better in my age group). The mentality challenged comment has no place in here, since clearly you can’t bring yourself to say anything good about him because you hate him. That is 100% fine by me, but it shows that you can’t have an unbiased discussion (in this case).

It’s not an indicator of health. He has to rally - otherwise we know where it could go. He can be, and most likely is, on some kind of boosters that promote short term energy. Look at Biden. He also rallies in his early 80ies, when some ppl already walk with a cane. I wish we could have a president decades younger! Has to be age limit for this kind of a job. Both need an anti-aging pill
or at least be on Rapamycin.

Both Trump and Biden are on rosuvastatin and finasteride which will bring them over the age of 90. I wonder if future presidents, senators and representives will be using rapamycin and acarbose to live until 120 or so.

Don’t care on anything else but as far as energy the two are I different planets. One can barely walk without falling or trembling the other can go on for hour rumbling in a rally a 30 degree weather. Just leave it alone as I will because your hate for the man has totally clouded your objectivity which is fine by me, but can never understand how people could be that way. We are definitely all made different. One day at lunch with about 7-8 people all well read and with advanced degrees and the subject turned political for some reason and one asked each to name best presidents in last 40 years. I was dumb founded that 3-4 of the liberal friends would not under no circumstances name a republican one, especially i was dumb founded they would not name not even Reagan. My choices were in this order , by far best ever Trump (don’t like him at all personally ) but as president I love him, then Reagan, then Kennedy and then Clinton. I’m as right as one can be, but that has nothing to do with my objectivity. To me I find very strange that people with advance degrees would not be able to bring themselves to a position where they can objectively speak about someone or about an issue, I grew up thinking that highly educated people were the most tolerant of adversity, but clearly that is not the case. If anything seems the opposite- weird very weird.

How did you come to a conclusion that I have hate for the man? Which exactly sentence indicate hate in your opinion? Just curious.

I don’t think it was one sentence or word per se, but mainly the fact that you would not anccepr under no circumstances that his energy level is very high especially for his advanced age. Honestly, taking the discussion in this direction is futile on these boards but the original reason I brought it up it was to make my point that meat vs vegan may be better for one group/sex and not good for the other (generally speaking). And when making the comparison of two men in same age, one vegan, one carnivore/burger lover the only example in my mind (without any research) was Clinton V Trump. Probably I should have googled and come up with different names (non political figures) since as I stated earlier a lot of people will not be able to have an objective discussion about someone if they don’t like them. But again politics aside my original observation still stands. You’d be hard pressed to find a man that looks strong and robust in their advance age that are vegan. That of course does not mean they are unhealthy, nor that they will die early because of their vegan diet. The only distinction I was trying to make is the fact that carnivore eating men in late age do look strong. That may not mean they are healthy nor that they will live long, but simply from what I have observed meat eating animals/humans tend to be strong or stronger than their vegan counterparts. That’s all to it.

Thank you. Your assumption of my hate is overblown and doesn’t have any merit. It’s just an assumption. Sorry you have it. Please be assured that I do not hate Trump. Hate is a very strong emotion that if present would negate all my health achievements. So, I never go that direction. Have a nice and healthy day

My husband has pretty high cholesterol but had zero calcium coronary score like you. HOWEVER I notice that yours was done without contrast, as was his, against my advice. What are the odds you think, that something could be there that you simply need a CT scan to pick up on?
I have no bone to pick and am pretty agnostic on dieting issues (definitely not a vegan myself and have thrived on keto in the past).
