…Or, perhaps more convenient, rinse with baking soda?

Dr Ellie didn’t like backing soda as I recall but she might have been referring to baking soda toothpaste that would be too gritty/abrasive? I don’t recall exactly.

Rinse with baking soda or xylitol, or mixture of both. I use it for my waterpick.
My father likes the Galantamine. It gives him vivid dreams and helps him sleep better.
I’ve been using Galantamine for a few weeks and it has the same effects for me except my dreams don’t seem to be much more vivid.
Overall I feel better when I wake up in the morning. More refreshed.

Probably so, dentists warn against the use of baking soda (Na-bicarbonate) as it can easily wear enamel. But this is true about the crystallized, undissolved compound.

So interesting!
Sorry for extra inquiry, but I am seriously considering trying it… esp curious as an adjunct for sleep for someone with ApoE4:
- What is your nightly dosage?
- Do you currently take breaks, or see a reason to do so?
- Have you and your Dad noticed any side-effects?
Thnx inn advance:-)

Pleurotus eryngii - Wikipedia(also%20known%20as,in%20many%20parts%20of%20Asia.
Pleurotus eryngii (also known as king trumpet mushroom , French horn mushroom , eryngi , king oyster mushroom , king brown mushroom , boletus of the steppes
I bought dried pleurotus ostreatus from them. I just use a coffee grinder to turn the mushrooms to powder. Quality is good. Erg content of ostreatus is only one third of eryngii, But I am chasing the other benefits of ostreatus.

Seems like the benefits am chasing are also provided by eryngii, with the added bonus of higher ERG.
Our findings are in consistency with those of Choudhury et al. [46] who showed a reduction in TC and LDL-C levels of obese hypertensive non-diabetic males administered with 3 g of P. ostreatus powder in capsule form daily for 3 months. Similar results were also found in another study where lipid levels, including TC and LDL-C were significantly different after the consumption of Agaricus bisporus cooked with olive oil [47]. In contrast, other studies reported that LDL-C remains unchanged [48,49].
Will switch to eryngii once my supply runs out.

Actually, we both take 4 mg of Galantamine every night. My father has experienced better sleep (fewer waking up times) and more vivid dreams.
I haven’t noticed a big change in dreams but I feel my sleep has improved.
We are taking Galantamine for its brain and muscle benefits. Supposedly it will aid against Sarcopenia when taken with Metformin. So we both take Metformin. I take 500 mg daily and my dad takes 1 g daily. We are both pre-diabetic with an HBA1C between 5.8-5.9.

thnx for elaborating… my friend takes Memantine for neurodegenerative disease prevention and for its benefits of blocking Glutamate… I researched it yesterday - they have differing mechanisms of action, and benefits… Some ppl on prevention protocols take both Galantamine and Memantine together.

Amlodipine? Telmisartan? Are you hypertensive?
I have coffee after my breakfast and supplements. I add collagen peptides, stevia and glycine to the coffee. Then I do a workout.

Are you still taking Vecollal? Did you notice any benefits? Their claims sound interesting and it looks like there is some evidence to support them. It’s still not vegan collagen, though…but way closer (amino-acids with the exact profile as human collagen) than what some people are passing off as vegan collagen these days.

Yes, I’ve been having this every day for 1.5 years.
I have no idea if it does anything, and I do question its effectiveness because it doesn’t seem to have taken off, but perhaps it’s just behind the times in same way it took forever for people to acknowledge that plant based protein powders can work, too?
Brad Stanfield was asked why he put bovine collagen in his new supplement, and he said as soon as there are studies showing vegan works, I’d change. Soooo???
Every once in a while I get tempted to have animal based collagen due to all the life changing reports, but I just can’t seem to pull the trigger.
I figure at the very least, it has a little protein and I love how it makes my water taste. To make it go farther, I use 1 tsp in a glass of water twice per day, vs 2 tsp in one glass
I order the peach flavor
I order quite a few containers to make the shipping worth it. At certain levels, they send a bunch of freebies too.
