Is there any EU country in Europe that still has Acarbose in the pharmacy? In Sweden, Denmark and Greece it is not possible to get by a ordinary prescription.
In France we still have it in our pharmacies with an ordinary prescription
In Germany it’s also still available, my Belgian pharmacy orders it in Germany for me
No problem in Spain, 100 tablets, 100mg, €16

It’s available in the UK as well (not EU though but EU prescriptions work in the UK).

Yep, but a recipe is requiered.
Big thanks for sharing this @jeanbaptiste, @Ludovic, @World_Traveler and @adssx. What price does it cost? The price 16 euro for 100mg in Spain seems to be really good. When I looked at the historical price here in Sweden then 100mg will cost around 130 euro.
@adssx Thanks also for the information that EU prescription works in the UK. Is this just something temporary?
Been buying at this price for 3 years. But pay €53 for SGLT2 inhibitor empagliflozin x 30 tabs.

It’s not temporary. EU prescriptions are valid in the whole EU + EEA/EFTA (Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland) + Switzerland + UK. The opposite is not necessarily true.
