Wait, are you saying you can get red light therapy from just being outside? I imagine you are are wearing UV A/B sunblock. I always wondered about that.

@Dr.Bart The UV sunblock won’t interfere with NIR. The new concept for me (from Scott Zimmerman) is that if you get a lot of NIR outdoors you will not need red/NIR therapy because you will not be deficient. Does extra NIR provide additional benefit?….i don’t know (but I’d like to find out).

I am a big fan of the “exercise snacks” that have been gaining steam lately (Rhonda Patrick talks a lot about them). I live on the 10th floor of a high rise building so I often run up the stairs to get to my apartment, while running up two steps at a time. I am so out of breath by the time I get upstairs, but it’s quick. Not only am I boosting my fitness, but I am also getting a mini quad workout by doing the double steps as well.
