It would be very difficult to isolate what any one particular intervention is doing with my limited testing budget. Other than, there are certain expected results from most interventions, and some of those results have been measurable.
We take quite a few dietary supplements
and have done so for 15 to 20 years or so. None of them had provided the amazing (to me) results we are seeing today. I’m reluctant to drop them all but have reduced the number a bit, while adding some that are of greater “interest”.
The one supplement that has made a measurable difference was the introduction of NAD precursors in '22 (have gone back and forth with NR and NMN). Telomere length has increased for both of us. Not terribly concerned about Telo length, I think it is a good indicator of a functional telomerase production process. Telomerase is an important enzyme that appears to be neuro protective, cardio protective, lowering LDL, provides immune support. I see so many posts discussing the “telomere” controversy and NAD but very few of them illustrate the overall benefit of having a functional telomerase production ability. So I see Telo length as an indicator of the “health” of that process. Mine is very heatlhy
Subjectively we are “feeling” like we are much younger than what we are. We both have rapid recovery, ability to work hard physically, mentally “sharp”.
Probably going a bit closer to the edge of sensibility in some peoples opinion
In Jan of 2024 had the best annual blood panel I’ve had in 15 years, with big improvement from the 2023 panel. Our last Tru test panel in Feb 2024 is better than the 3 previous ones.
Tru tests done Oct '21, Nov '22, Jun '23, Feb '24 - next one Sept '24
Most of our “advanced” interventions listed below.
Senolytic program every 3 months since 2019
The Rap program started Aug '22 - every 2 weeks for 2 years now, time flies!!
The GLP1-r + GIP - 1 year - once a week, just switched 2 weeks ago to GLIP-r+GIP+GCGR
The DHEA is about 8 months in
The GHRH is just 1 year - 5 nights a week, 3 weeks on 1 off
The above 3 are my version of the TRIIM protocol to restore Thymus function. Have seen improvements in our last Tru test related to Immunosenescence
The Healing peptides are 1 year in (BPC157+TB500) - every morning
Started Gonadorelin 2 weeks ago - noticeable volume increase in “ejaculate”
Starting MOTS-c today
Sorry for the long post, I just can’t fully separate 1 intervention from the other. I do feel strongly that many interventions are required and I’m going to try as many as I can afford
After all, there are 12 Hallmarks of Aging, not just one.
