It’s more of a mood enhancer regardless of anxiety issues. One could be in a peaceful state and still feel even better on it. It pairs well with bromantane so I use both.
Nice to see someone trying these Russian interventions out.

My husband and I have been using intranasal insulin for about 5 months. Is that “sketchy”?
I have experienced some appetite suppression but not sure there are any cognitive changes. The appetite suppression has been described in the literature. The insulin that you provide to the brain does not exit the brain, but causes the brain to alter signaling to the body.
My husband had a one point improvement on the MoCA test versus 6 months ago. Probably noise, but happy it is at least not getting worse. Neither of us has had any adverse effects.

Man this stuff is no joke. Screw taking it at night, just taking it in the day combined with a high dose of Alpha GPC (or another choline source I imagine) has given me an insane boost of energy. I didn’t even sleep well last night and I have ridiculous energy and confidence.
4mg of galamantine and maybe 1/6th tablespoon of Alpha GPC.
Anyone else get this effect? It’s stronger than modafinil. I’d reduce the dose next time to half or a quarter as it’s quite intense but this is good.
I also took CBD oil and lemon balm with this and those have GABA properties. Combined it was a very intense spiritual/mild psychedelic experience.
I felt like just doing things. I felt younger. This combo isn’t something you could do daily but I want to maintain this mindset as much as possible.
It’s pretty funny I took this stuff thinking it would just be a mild improvement of focus. Boy was I wrong.

I do, sans the CBD oil and lemon balm.
It’s always nice to find something that works for you. You seem to be a hyper responder.
That is a fairly unusual response. I have never noticed any effect on my sleep other than producing more vivid and colorful dreams. That is why I rarely take it at bedtime.
It’s one of the top three most prescribed drugs for the treatment of mild dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Certainly more effective IMO than Rivastigmine or Memantine. I have tried both for several weeks and noticed nothing. Galantamine is the only one of the three that gives me noticeable subjective cognitive benefits, but nothing as strong as you describe.
I am very sensitive to modafinil and only take 50 mg in the morning.
I take 8 mg of galantamine twice daily, morning and evening. Some people experience gastrointestinal distress; if so, be sure to take it with food. I take it on an empty stomach in the morning, and it has never caused me any problems.
“Galantamine. Cholinesterase inhibitor. Treats symptoms of mild to moderate Alzheimer’s by preventing the breakdown of acetylcholine and stimulates nicotinic receptors to release more acetylcholine in the brain.”
The most commonly prescribed dosage is 16 mg daily.

You need to combine with CBD and lemon balm to get the full effect I think. The GABA modulation takes it to a new level. I just don’t advise doing it before you need to be serious lol.
I just woke up the next day and I still feel a really positive effect.
To clarify when I say psychedellic, it didn’t produce any hallucination effects. It was just a very intense trip.
Ever tried armodafinil? I did and in my experience it was superior to modafinil, but the effect lasts so much longer I find even if I take it right in the morning I’ll be up late next day. Something I’d only use very selectively and occasionally.
I can’t even imagine. But I’m not sure if I mentioned this, but I’ve taken galantamine by itself a few times at night before bed, and once during the day without this effect. I do think it is the combination that makes it have that profound effect.
I’m quite curious to try 1/4 of the dose and see what kind of benefits there are. I also am wondering what would happen if exogenous oxytocin were added to this mix. ChatGPT predicts it could be a safer alternative to MDMA.

On my third day of GB-115, which I find superior to bromantane, selank, and modafinil. A mildly stimulating peptide with pronounced anxiolytic and anti-inflammatory effects, it already holds a place of honor in my personal pharmacy. Everychem takes CC as well as crypto.

Been taking a combo of BPC (500mcg) +TB500 (500mcg) every morning for about 2 years now. I consider it one of the foundations of my longevity peptide protocols.

Hi Cyfrin,
would you be so kind to write down your supplements list and dosages?
As I understood, you are taking 10mg weekly Rapamycin, 2000mg daily Melatonin, Probiotics and supplements for mitochondria health (do you mean Q10, Astaxanthin, NMN, PQQ and some others antioxidants and NAD boosters?).
Please, be so kind to tell us you protocol as you have amazing results and periods at 62.
It seems that menopause has very negative impact on women’s health so your protocol would be significant for all woman who wants to delate onset of menopause.
Thank you very much in advanced!
Sincerely, Senka

Had a great day today after taking 4mg galantamine in the early afternoon before going out, and then 4mg before a nightshift. Really seems to work well for me. Maybe I should take it daily. I seem to use it more as a nootropic when I want this feeling.
I won’t put all of the good feeling onto this as I do a lot of positive things to get into a good state but it’s undeniable how well galantamine works for me.

Took it again today but didn’t really feel it. I didn’t combine it with alpha GPC today and I think that is why. Also I am running on 5 hours sleep after a long night shift so I’m a bit burned out.
I strongly think combining galantamine with alpha GPC or another choline source is necessary to get the full effect I seek.
Are you still using this? This one looks really good.

Yes, I take that daily in the morning. The effects are cumulative (rodent study).
For choline, I take alpha gpc, CDP Choline (citicholine), and sunflower lecithin. Also eggs.

Very interested on the plasmapheresis experience, did you then posted a full write up?
Now doing plasma donation once a month, being plasmapheresis in italy only an hospital-procedure and no possibility to obtain a off-label doctor uses.
The national health system here pay the hospital a reimbursement between 600 to 900 euro, when I read of the $10k/session in SF i told myself WTF?!?
I was already dreaming a TPE monthly session, with in parallel blood sampling for blood work, with in-parallel IV drip of something worth to IV.

Gotta like that sunflower lecithin.
Been on it for 5 years or more nightly. Makes huge loads for a guy. Granted online information says it’s inconclusive… but my buds and I agree… when off it… less jizz and watery. Our N=1.
Back on it… ropes. Just sayin.

PROFIT what the medical system is in the US/ Western System.
At 600 to 900 euro they still make a profit.
Selling the sizzle of TPE to the masses thinking it is a extension of lifespan. They see steak with the sizzle, in my view what they will find is expensive hamburger.
