I am assisting a friend in buying some rapamycin from India. Is there an update on the guy? And the brand is the best? Thanks

Thanks for the update, I’m still waiting to hear from BG after placing my order in mid June. I just followed up with him again.

I’ve used Jagdish for my most recent purchase and he is great as always. He’s very responsive on WhatsApp.

The same here. I have ordered twice from Jagdish and got quick turnaround. I have found him very responsive on whatsapp and not as much via email.

I only use email with all vendors, though some then switch to text messaging, but I find Jagdish is very quick and responsive via email. YMMV.

Thanks @ElizabethMont42 @DeStrider for the Jagdish recommendation. I am looking for Rapamune (not generic Sirolimus) and from what I can tell, I can only get that from BG Pharma (I’m in the US). I would appreciate any other sources if anyone has them.

I received an email from Maulik Parekh. Apparently one of his customers that appeared to be from the forum received their package of rapamycin and then disputed the charges with the credit card company. The customer is not responding to emails or phone calls. Maybe the customer does not realize that the charge from Maulik will appear on their credit card statement as from: ā€œFD4CAST LTD BRISTOL GBā€
I am hoping that this is a simple misunderstanding and not an attempt to defraud one of our trusted suppliers. But, apparently the customer is refusing to respond to emails, etc.

BG is the only reseller I’ve run across for rapamune. It’s no longer sold in the USA is my understanding, only in Europe / Turkey. Some people have purchased from Turkey and brought it back to their home country. See: Rapamune OTC in Turkey

You can also search online for other vendors, but of course its a crap shoot on vendor reliability.

I’ve ordered from him with success. Do tell him that if it’s helpful and the CC company needs letters from satisfied customers, that I and maybe others will be willing to provide those. The person not responding makes it look bad for them, and do tell him to document those attempts and to give that to the CC company as well. (I assume he knows the drill, but just incase)

GP Pharma International is not a safe company to order from. I ordered from it, as it was indicated to be reliable here, and The rapamycin I received was fake.

I had been taking rapamycin from ageless.com for 2 years intermittently. I was looking for a more affordable alternative. With ageless I was on 4 mg. I get very specific side effects from taking rapamycin. I have never gotten a single side effect from the product GP Pharma international sent to me. Not at 4 mg, not at 6mg, not at 8mg. No matter how high the dose is, I experience no side effects. I don’t get acne, mouth sores or feel tired. These are all very common and reliable side effects that I experience when taking Rapamyacin. I break out, I get a mouth sore, Im more tired than usual - EVERYTIME. This is why I wasnt taking the Rapamycin on a weekly basis, but every other week or once a month. I have no side effects with the product I received, they might as well be sugar pills.

I think GP pharma should be removed from the list.

Are we talking about the same provider? "GP Pharma or ā€œBg pharmaceuticalā€ in Bulgaria? BG from Bulgaria delivers rapamune from Pfizer.

GP Pharma International on indiamart. Its the first company on the list at the top. I’m not responding to any previous conversations, Im replying to the original post.

There are a lot of comments to sort through, is anyone aware of which of the listed pharmacies is the most reliable? I would like to try ordering again, but after receiving bunk product I’m certainly hesitant. Who has blood test results, or previously been on rapamycin through a reliable pharmacy and can tell they are receiving Rapamycin from the side effects their experiencing.

What is the brand name of the ā€œfake rapamycinā€ you received? Kind of a basic information you are omitting there. It’s impossible to know what you are talking about, with such basic info missing.

I didn’t think it would be confusing, as it’s the only Rapamyacin product they offer: Sirolimus.

However, I’m not seeking to discuss their rapamycin brand.

The intention of my post is to say a listed pharmacy is not reliable for its product, and ask for a better known reliable pharmacy.

No. Sirolimus is just the pharma name of rapamycin. They all say ā€œsirolimusā€. Again: what is the BRAND name of the sirolimus/rapamycin you received? Who makes it or distributes it? What is the name of the company? Basic information.

I’m not sure why you need to be so rude. They didn’t offer me dozens of brand options. Nor did they say ā€œwe have many different brand options and some of them don’t work at allā€. GP pharma international Isn’t listed as reliable, except for these brands of course.

I’m asking for a reliable pharmacy that will send me a real quality product - and communicating the product I received is not rapamyacin - or the product is so deteriorated that even taking 12 mg will not give me the side effects I normally get from even 2 mg.

I understand that you would like additional information for your benefit, instead of just saying ā€œhere’s a pharmacy that works really well for everyone and you should watch out for these brands or focus on these brands. Oh btw what was the brand on your package? Just tell me everything thats written there, thanksā€.

Of which I would have responded with the information SiroBoon.

You need not be so inherently rude and condescending. You certainly have not answered the question I’ve been asking, of which having the brand information about my product has no bearing on.

I’m not being rude, apologies if it came across as such, it was not my intention.

The reason I asked for the brand name, is because a vendor sending fake meds is a serious accusation, and in fairness to the vendor and as a service to the community, you need to provide basic information to back up your charge.

Now that you provided the name: Siroboon, the situation is crystal clear. And so is the reason for my question regarding the brand.

The vendor is not at fault here. YOU selected this brand ā€œSiroboonā€, the vendor just sent you the product that you selected.

It is exactly as I suspected. If you do a search of this site, you will quickly discover that Siroboon is the one brand of sirolimus/rapamycin you should never order. In multiple tests it has been shown to either not contain rapamycin, not in the right amount, or the form of it is not bioavailable. People have tested this and alerted the community to the problem with this brand.

You are indeed correct - what you received does not work. And the problem is the brand that you yourself have selected. Warnings against this brand are all over this site.

I have not gone to the GP Pharma International site, but are you sure that Siroboon is the only brand of rapamycin they offer? Sounds odd. In any case, the vendor cannot vet every medication on the market. They sell what’s on offer. They’re just a middleman. If they send you a fake product that’s a serious matter, but if it’s a product on the market that you freely selected, then they just sent you what you ordered.

You are right to ask for recommendations for reliable vendors - we all do so, myself included, and we provide feedback for the benefit of the community. However we also exchange feedback on brands, and Siroboon is widely warned against by multiple people here (myself included).

I am sorry you had this experience, and apologize if I came across as rude rather than careful and thorough (I try to be the latter!).

However it is essential to provide key information so that you may receive the proper feedback. In this case: Siroboon is the key piece of information without which nothing can be determined - it is a brand to be avoided.

There are several good vendors here. I can personally attest to the reliability of Jagdish (his contact info is in many posts in this thread). Ask for Rapacan by Eris, that is a brand most of us here order, and one I have tested with blood tests repeatedly with very good results.

Also, while going by symptoms is a good method, if you want to be absolutely sure you are getting a certain level of rapamycin, it’s best to get a blood test for sirolimus. Best of luck!

No. You are entirely wrong here. The brand name information about your product has ALL the bearing on recommendations. All of the vendors from whom you order Siroboon will send you Siroboon which is the problematic brand.

That is why I asked for this basic information: the brand. Not for my own benefit as you surmise, but in order to be able to assist you. Just providing you the names of reliable vendors will not fix your problem if you order the wrong brand. Which is why I didn’t simply recommend a vendor, that would not have the result you need. For all I know, GP Pharma International is a reliable vendor. The problem is the brand you picked. Which is why I asked about the brand rather than responded immediately with a vendor name as that would be completely useless - the problem here is not the reliability of the vendor and the solution is not giving you the name of a reliable vendor. The problem in this case is the brand, and therefore the solution is the correct brand, which I asked for, and the recommendation I gave.

Again, I’m trying to help and I am thorough. I derive no personal benefit from recommending a brand or vendor. I am spending time assisting you with key information at no cost to you and no benefit to me, and I’m disappointed to be accused of looking for some kind of personal benefit.

Ok, now I understand. You were very short and abrupt in your response, I have made it clear that I am new and was giving you the information I had.

Regardless of the miscommunication, thank you. I appreciate your time and effort, I was not given multiple brand options during my inquiry with GP. There are so many comments under this post, its really difficult to go through all the information. It would be really nice if the information you shared with me was in the original post

I am surprised that a reliable pharmacy would offer a medication that is known to be unviable, and still put it forward as an option when contacted. I asked for 2mg options and that was what they shared with me. There was no, ā€œbut these are the other options I’d recommend above SiroBoon.ā€

With that behavior in mind I will not order from them in the future.

People will be. This is a forum.
