Friends or contacts who live not too far from you, in the US, are perhaps an option. People have reported this approach working, picking up the medications when they visit their friends.

Thank you for this suggestion… no people I know who live nearby in the States, but this parcel pick up depot is for Canadians to send purcased items in the States. Then pick them up there, rather than having them shippped to Canada and paying that additional fee. Here’s hoping this will work for the parcel from India. Who could have known how difficult it would be to purchase such a (fairly) safe medication?

It from India and then arrange to pick up. They have multiple locations.

The place I use is actually in a building supply called “Wellesley Island Building Supply” - just a couple of miles south of the Canadian / U.S. border at the St. Lawrence River Bridge crossing. You sign up for the space there - some people ship patio sets there!!! It’s called KinekPoints. You sign up, and they provide a number for you, which you use when you have a company ship your items there instead of to Canada. If you are buying from a U.S. company, the cross border shipping and taxes are pretty high. This saves all that.
