Yes, I’m impressed. Especially after hearing so many times that a human trial was “never going to happen” because human trials are too expensive and rapamycin is now available as a generic. Hopefully all goes well.

It looks like he is a bit stuck on the placebo issue. What he needs are enteric coated capsules that look the same for placebo and rapamycin.

However, he is putting them in a capsule and does not mention whether they are enteric coated. It means participants can open the capsules and find out which arm they are in.
