Sure, they could… but will they ever get the clinical trials that validate their effectiveness? Its like the supplement industry… lots of promise, but no clear pathway to validation given the business models and lack of patent protection. I’ve not seen any solution to this issue yet, so its hard to see anything in the future but more hype and no substance.
