…“according to the American Medical Association”…
The Union for Medical Doctors and Medical Organizations.
The majority of the AMA’s interest and NOT the end-users interest.

At least for androgenic alopecia / male pattern, this stuff has been tried for decades and decades to no success. Maybe for other forms of hair loss is can be helpful.

Be aware that Nutrafol may have caused drug-induced liver injury in a 26-year-old women who had been taking Nutrafol (version not specified) for 5 months prior to developing jaundice. Laboratory testing showed elevated liver enzymes and bilirubin. Biopsy of her liver showed moderate inflammation and marked injury. Her liver enzymes had been normal one month before starting the supplement. Upon discontinuing Nutrafol, her laboratory values improved. Nutrafol was considered the likely cause of drug-induced liver injury based on the timing of the injury as well as the fact that the supplement contains ingredients such as turmeric, ashwagandha, horsetail, saw palmetto, kelp (a source of iodine), and resveratrol — all of which may cause liver toxicity (Dugal, Am J Gastroenterol 2024).
A ConsumerLab member reported developing chronic kidney disease two months after he began using Nutrafol Men. It is unclear if Nutrafol Men is the cause of this condition.
