I agree this is important. I don’t understand why there isn’t just some simple program to do this, there should be and maybe there is, as it’s possible to create programs seemingly easily with replit and AI agents. You could run the created program locally on your computer.
I don’t think it matters to have statistical tools or do linear regression (you’ll see the difference if there is any on the graph), and p-values will not be useful when doing 50 comparisons like Lustgarten? Trends or something like that might be important.
