They almost always get rid of most of the plant, which is sad/wasteful, b/c the raw cannabis leaves ARE probably the healthiest and most fiber-rich part of the plant… You only get subpsychoactive doses of THC, which is probably the optimal dose for most people (not high enough to feel anything, but high enough to have SOME anti-amyloid/aggregative/anioxidant activity)

I’ve seen some weirdly different access policies for cannabis that differ by state (eg Illinois sells THC-infused soda even in stores that aren’t specifically 21+/marketed for THC)… But these aren’t the healthy kind I want to go for…

Fiber or oilseed hemp seeds are cheap, and growing greens is pretty space efficient. You can also grow CBD “hemp” in essentially arbitrary quantities legally, if that will do for you.

THC drug plants become regulated very early in their development (say, 3 weeks of age), so aren’t viable to grow yourself in many contexts.
