I ordered Rapa via the Antiaging Store, received RapaPro, took 6 mg; blood test 12 hours later showed level of 2, with 5-15 being the therapeutic range. Wondering if I was shipped meds without enough Rapa in them, or if I personally need to take more. Anyone else with experience ordering through that site and getting appropriate or inappropriate therapeutic response? thanks for helping a newbie figure this out…

Where did you get your therapeutic range from?

I’d be interested to know how this compares to blood test results others have gotten with other manufacturers. I’m using rapa pro also.

This therapeutic range is for ppl with kidney transplant. You should not use it as a criteria for anti-aging purpose.

There are many posts on this website about results from rapamycin blood tests. Your result of “2” does seem on the low-end after 12 hours, but it is hard to know for sure as the peak level seems to be in the 2 to 3 hours after dosing.

I did a google search for RapaPro and the only results were from three websites that sell it with the exact price, descriptions and page layout- seemingly the same company.

Is there any information on or in the box that shows the manufacturer? Several people on this site have purchased Siroboon branded rapamycin- it has the lowest cost from India suppliers. While Siroboon is certainly “rapamycin”, it seems to be poorly absorbed- blood tests show a low blood level. Perhaps RapaPro is a rebranded Siroboon? Or, they might be making (compounding) there own pills, but not giving them an enteric coating which would then cause them to be mostly destroyed in the stomach.

Use the search function on this site to find out more about blood testing and Siroboon…
