How much do you think it is the ketosis itself vs more about managing glucose levels and spikes?

Eg SGLT2i and Acarbose give really good results standalone. (And some would argue that metformin does too).

This example also adds the variable of switching in and out of ketosis, which must be a stress of some amount. Perhaps there is a hormesis effect involved in this study. I have long wondered if I would be better off with a variable diet rather than eating largely the same type of thing every day. Now that I am varying my protein significantly on a daily basis maybe I should also go for more variability in everything I eat……

Any thoughts?

I also thought about pulsing various nutrients.
Starve one nutrient and you deplete the store.
Over feed a nutrient and you might waste it if the store is full.
How do I know if the store is near full or near empty.
Difficult question, but I would suggest some variability from day to day simply to avoid boredom.
