Bear with me. I’m trying to wade through the politics and other BS and figure out if long Covid is a significant disease, a minor problem exaggerated, or just the latest “in” illness. Does anyone have good factual data either way?
I have also been looking into the psychosocial aspects of chronic illness and wonder if that’s a component.
And to be honest, I sometimes wonder about the revolving door of chronic illnesses- hypoglycemia, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and now POTS. Is long COVID in this category?

Not claiming that the long term presence and/or production of spike proteins is necessarily all that “Long Covid” (LC) is, but since there is this mechanism, which was moreover predicted and applies to both, covid as well as mRNA shot long term side effects, LC is real. This does not depend on any political bias, say regarding how many shot induced LC are dismissed or blamed on a presumed later infection (“you missed a booster…”), but simply basic scientific method, starting with proper terminology. If there is a real mechanism (reductionism), the thing is real, at least as far as it is based on the mechanism.
