I mostly bought ProdromeGlia up until now because I wasn’t ultra-convinced that attaching the plasmalogen to DHA rather than oleic acid would make a qualitative difference (esp if one 2x’s the normal dose of ProdromeGlia) but it’s not clear that ProdromeGlia can do what ProdromeNeuro does even at 2x.
There’s more validated research on ProdromeNeuro
Given how low I tested + my conditions, it might not be worth the risk to just do ProdromeGlia rather than ProdromeNeuro… [and at least TRY some ProdromeNeuro for some time]
(whcih still cites SO much of Dayan’s research that it automatically makes it slightly suspect, but this also isn’t a risk I can afford to take). I did get a little bit of gift income, but given my blood tests, I know I have a lot to fix b/c the blood tests reveal that there are way more red flags than I would have ever thought (and I still have not been feeling well for quite a while)
[ProdromeGlia and ProdromeNeuro are still oversimplified misnomers…]
and still, even if it’s JUST attached to oleic acid rather than DHA, is that ENOUGH to prevent the plasmalogen from reaching the neuron? Even A LOT of MUFA/oleic acid will reach the neuron if you eat enough of the MUFA/oleic acid glycerols/triglyceride esters… Many of Goodenowe’s claims are still marketing claims and while I definitely believe the science of plasmalogens, marketing Prodrome as “ProdromeGlia vs ProdromeNeuro” still seems purely marketing. And the sources cited overwhelmingly use Dayan’s sources…
