I think the science of longevity is starting to bear fruit. I’ve heard of many famous people who are over 100 these days.

I wonder what the statistics are on the number of ex-presidents that have lived to over 100? Anyone know how many have achieved this milestone?

Presidents tend to do better than average.

I think Jimmy Carter is already the longest lived president.

Here’s the ages at death or current age of each president and what they died from.
The average is 72.2 years. But then the assassinations really bring it down.
11 died of a heart attack.
8 died of a stroke.
They needed statins, Ezetemibe and Bempedoic Acid.

Jimmy apparently will be the first to 100. Good for him. Can’t see Biden making it there.

I follow Dr. William Li, who does podcasts of food as medicine daily.
He talked about Jimmy Carter’s cancer treatment and why it was successfully, and Dr. Li’s mother also had the same success with this new immunotherapy.
It also helps to take a probiotic called Ruminococcus

Yes. If your cancer is a genetic match, a checkpoint inhibitor will cure it. They are amazing drugs, but unfortunately the match rate is quite low (around 5% or less).
