There is also evidence it was used as an aphrodisiac, as well as a contraceptive. Nice… sex and no surprises. Lol
The plant was so closely linked to love and sexuality that it’s theorised the shape of the seeds inspired the love-heart shape we still use today. 
Although my heart is in great shape… that of a person under 35 years (like you) let’s keep it that way.
