But: the dosage of niacinamide to inhibit SIRT1 for an adult man is estimated at around 4000 mg, based on achieving a plasma concentration of 0.5 mM, as used in cell culture studies.
In the same time: niacinamide offers significant benefits for skin health (perfect for managing any kind of eczema - both topically and as supplement), skin cancer prevention in high-risk individuals, osteoarthritis management, and phosphorus reduction in CKD dialysis patients.
→ pulsed intake of 100-500mg daily make perfect sense for „some“ individuals :))
