This was discussed In April, 2022, by member ārivasp12ā. He had the scan preformed

The issue with full body scans is the false positives and what you will go through chasing them.

Itās probably very unlikely to be cancer right?
Keep us posted.
Is it outside the throat or āinsideā (can it be Globus pharyngis?)
Outside the throatā¦ Weird things really really happen to me/around me
Itās very unlikely, but I still just want to just be sureā¦
Incidentally, some of my friends are helping me fundraise (set up a gofundme) to help me with costs following a serious accident I recently had (just to be sure Iām okay)ā¦ The accident has definitely affected my ability to thinkā¦
Itās 1.5 Tesla MRI, IDK if worth it
I think Kim K. is starting to follow Bryan Johnson down the longevity biohacking pathā¦

Yes of course it doesnāt sound good to have a lump outside the throat, it could be cancer, but it doesnāt have to be. Important to check.
Was it a concussion, if I remember you mention it somewhere? You donāt have to share.
The brain is very plastic at your age so I am sure you will be able to get back function to think.

Bryan is single and only a couple years older than her. Itās going to be proof that weāre living in a simulation if they get together.

It would be interesting from a ābelt and bracesā perspective to run a Prenuvo full-body MRI scan with the Galleri test (or something similar) to screen out false positives

In my view and opinion
If a person takes any advice or comment from āKim Kardashianā you have something wrong.

So ā¦ Iāve got a number of patients who are doing yearly MRIās - Iāve had them join my practice with many of them just doing it yearly as a routine. Iām generally positively disposed toward it ā¦ but like @KarlT the issue is, ignoring the incidentalomaās and not getting hurt by over investigating.
So my wife and I have decided to do this upcoming in less than a month. Weāve chosen SimonOne as they have a brain/neck MRI/MRA and torso (Chest/Abd/Pelvis) with focused prostate or uterine/ovarian protocols ā¦ takes 40 minutes, is a 3T scanner, so high resolution. Cost $1250.
It isnāt cheap, but I think it is worth it. It is actually a little terrifying as something bad could be found.
Anyway for those thinking about doing this - $1250 ā¦ not bad, or just a body, no head/neck for I think $650.

Hello Dr. Fraser, Does SimonOneās chest scan include a cardiac MRI? It was not clear to me from the website information. NYC is 300 more! oh well. I hope no taxes on top. Neck should include the arteries to the brain I suppose. Please do keep us posted. Cheers

With or without contrast?
https://www.simonone.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/simonONE-Sample-Patient-Report_224.pdf
I think they are just doing basic structural on the heart and any obvious abnormality will be addressed.
I put a sample report ā¦ I really like the Neuroquant part - worth looking at on volume of each area of your brain, mapped to %tile by age. Very interesting stuff.
I think it is actually a bargain after looking through the report. No taxes should be added as is medical care, and is HSA eligible.
@KarlT The MRA head/neck is without contrast and yes looks at vessels of neck and will let you know of any strokes or ischemic areas, aneurysms, masses - but the brain mapping with volume is very interesting.

Thank you. I too may do it next time I am in the USA.

Some physics required - but actually a 3T is lower resolution as compared to 1T. 3T is higher speed and a narrower field of view so great for a knee or shoulder. 1T has a 30cm plus field of view so you can fit most of the abdominal organs on a single(albeit slower) scan and for the brain a 1T can scan down to 1mm square blocks-which is why the Prenuovo uses 1T scanners
