So I have been on Rapa for a year. 5mg once a week every week.
My wife isn’t on Rapa. She contracted the flu with a dry cough and 102.5 fever. We sleep in the same bed and use CPAP machines. Air wooshing and swooshing all over the place. I luckily; haven’t caught it yet and was wondering if Rapa played a protective role here. Thoughts? Thanks

My brother was down for 2 weeks and we work together most days. No way I wasn’t exposed. I never got it. Disease is strange, sometimes you’re ready and sometimes you’re not.

There’s no way to know if either of your cases was related to the Rapamycin.

No way to know but hypothetically could be right. Just like we don’t know if Rapa will actually extend our lifespan. Only time will tell. Role the dice!
