Sirolimus cuts down the amount of HIV in cells for those on HIV meds.

This HIV reduction sticks around for at least 3 months after stopping the drug.

It slows down the activity of certain immune cells and reduces a marker of exhaustion on others.

Doesn’t change how the immune system targets HIV or the active virus levels.
There is a also study in China using rapamycin to reduce Hepatitis B viral load.
