Hi!
I lucked out and found a perfect condition mettler ae240 scale for <$110usd delivered. (0.01mg scale, accurate to +/- 0.02mg.) So I can actually afford to self dose rapamycin now, yay! I found a vendor that supplies pharmaceuticals to the nih, for a rapamycin source, so i ordered a gram; cost was >$270 delivered.
As has been mentioned, rapamycin powder should be stored at -4f, which I’m doing. But I know it was at room temperature for a week during shipping. It was shipped with chemical ice packs in Styrofoam, but they were room temperature on arrival during a 2 week transit. But what I’ve read here indicates I shouldn’t need to worry if it was at room temperature for a week? The supplier said it should be fine; that they’ve shipped to the eu with similar conditions, and their buyers had the rapamycin test fine.
Thanks!

Have you sourced and vetted enteric capsules for the rapamycin?
Without them, stomach acid will mostly destroy the rapamycin.
Lot’s of research to do.
Let us know your results.

So, i can’t simply take the rapamycin straight? I need enteric capsules?
Thanks for the info; I’ll definitely check it out!

Wow, a lot of different mfr’s and sizes! Have any recommendations? Seems size 5 would be all that’s needed for 6mg?
Thanks again,
