Don’t forget it reduces microplastic consumption!!

Retatrutide is the bomb!
After switching from Terzepatide to Rt, I’ve been able to lower my dose and still lose a bit more and I may lower it again.

Pemvidutide and Survodutide also coming soon.
How does Retatrutide reduce microplastics?

I believe his reasoning has been that if you eat less, you will be reducing your ‘intake’ of microplastics.

Ah yes. Should have known. Alex does think like that.

@RapAdmin can you please edit the title: it’s retatrutide and not retRatrutide and the “[also reduces microplastic consumption!]” is nonsense.

@Steve_Combi What source are you using for the Retatrutide, and what is the cost?
My sense is 3.5 mg RT = 5 mg of TZ in potency. What that match your experience?
I do have a couple of patients on this, but have most experience with semaglutide and Tirzepatide.

I had what felt like a heart arrhythmia switching from Tirzepatide to Retatrutide, esp noticable while laying down and trying to sleep. Only used a 1.25mg dose. The few times I noticed it I took 10mg of nadalolol and it quickly dissipated and I was going to discontinue Reta but eventually I must’ve adapted because I haven’t noticed heart issues anymore at 1.5mg+ for the past few weeks. Heart issues were noted at higher dosages in the trials fwiw, something to watch out for. I don’t get sleepy on Reta like I do on Tirzepatide and I still want to eat which is good for muscle building, yet still burn fat like crazy. Like other GLP1’s if you don’t weight train and eat enough protein you’ll start losing muscle nearly as quickly as fat.

I’m not sure I’m understanding this? Isn’t the primary mechanism by which these drugs cause weight loss is by decreasing appetite? Seems like a fine line between decreasing calorie intake and wanting to eat.

Most feedback I’ve seen from people using retatrutide is that it doesn’t suppress appetite as much as sema/tirz but also stimulates metabolism due to its additional activity at glucagon receptors.

Davin8r is correct. You burn more and yet still loose more than the 1&2 receptor GLP1’s. Downsides are you’re not going to save a ton of money on food and “food noise” suppression isn’t as good, it’s more mild. So you’ll still think about food in my experience. I haven’t used higher dosages though.

I agree that Reta works with a lower does than Tz.
I went down from Tz at 3.5 weekly (maintaining at 155) to 2.5 Rt weekly and if I was not so frickin happy being close to my high school weight (142) I’d probably go down to 2.0mg LoL! I never dreamt I’d be able to do this at my age and be a fit as I am today.
I have 2 people on 1mg Rt a week and they are both losing slowly, one female (39) and 1 male (40). They only wanted hunger control and after a discussion we decided to try the low dose and after 2 months they are both very happy with the results so far.
I also find that hunger, fullness and amount I eat has all gone down a just bit more. And the one “side effect” of fewer BM’s (a natural progression with less intake) is about the same but with less constipation than Rt.

I would think that there isn’t any legal way to get Retatrutide?

Semaglutide = GLP1-R
Tirzepatide = GLP1-R + GIP
Retatrutide = GLP1-R + GIP + GCGR
With Rt the GCGR enables thermogenisis to increase metabolism. It affects the brown and beige fat in a good way.
The other 2 peptides are not as good at increasing metabolism, their effect comes from glucose control, satiety and slowing of digestion. All those combine to reduce weight but not in the same way as the addition of GCGR does. GCGR actually burns calories.

Companies can legally sell it as a compound for “research purposes only” and “not for human use” while at the same time paying for independent analysis of purity and sterility.

Sounds like a great “miracle” drug. Hopefully gets to market soon.

I certainly would not trust the independent analysis of purity and sterility from someone selling a research chemical on a website. Testing and documents are easily manipulated. I would guess they are purchasing a Chinese made chemical and throwing it in a bottle.

Apparently a lot of research is being done lol.

Not at face value. Some groups (online forums) buy from online vendors and then pay to have random samples sent in for purity analysis, then publicly publish said results as a way to help keep the vendors honest. It’s far from perfect, but it’s better than nothing. Individuals can make their own risk/reward analysis.
HOWEVER, update – please see this as well:
