Sarcosine gets converted into glycine in the body, so I would bet that it also provides general longevity benefits similar to glycine.

Metabolomics and lipidomics uncover the metabolic features and heterogeneity associated with sarcopenia — the age-related loss of muscle mass and strength. Circulating sarcosine levels decrease in sarcopenia and supplementation with sarcosine enhances fat metabolism and muscle repair in mice by activating anti-inflammatory macrophages. These results suggest sarcosine could be used therapeutically to slow sarcopenic progression.
