Chemicals impacting LDL (top 2 are the big levers):

  1. Rosuvastatin 5mg/day average (EOD dosing)
  2. Ezetimibe 10mg / day
  3. Metformin 500mg/day (4 days/week)
  4. SGLT2 (Farxiga) 10mg/day
  5. Fish oil daily low dose (½ recommended amount)
  6. Niacin 500mg / day
  7. Vit B5 500mg/ day
  8. Berberine 500mg/day x2 on non metformin days
  9. Garlic on food (2grams a day)
  10. Green tea (my only beverage)

Perhaps you might consider adding in fiber. Both soluble and insoluble.

Thanks. Since I eat a lot of fiber and plant diversity (strive for 40 plants per week) in my diet, I don’t use fiber supplements. But I agree fiber is useful for reducing cholesterol absorption.

Almost daily:
Steelcut oatmeal
Blueberries (blackberry, raspberry)
Beans / legumes
Raw carrots
Celery
Wheatgerm
