I haven’t had labs done since beginning rapa in late March, so it’s time to see if it’s effecting my lipids or glucose, in addition to seeing if my new thyroid dose is ideal.
I see many of you test for different markers, so I’d love it if you could tell me what you might add to this. My doc is happy to add anything I request unless he things I’m being insane :). I assume a more detailed thyroid test, but what?
This is a copy of a typical lab order from my doc. I know to add ApoB, I also already know my Lp(a)
(PS, feel free to add this to an existing thread if there is a more appropriate place for this post)

CRP for a basic measure of inflammation. Some renal stuff (eGFR) and albumin as well as liver enzymes. Im thinking of things that appear in Levine’s calculator (RCDW and WCC/differential) will be in the CBC.

Some things depend on cost. As I do tests every week I tend to go for the standard panel. I have recently obtained a discount which reduces the cost to around GBP 120 per week.
However, ideally I would add also Cystatin-C to the standard panels. Randox in the UK do a really good panel with lots of interesting biomarkers.
