I’ve been offered samples from one of my suppliers. I’ve not used any of these in the past, a couple are “interesting” to me. Which one would you pick to experiment with? and why, if you have the time.

2-Deoxy-D-ribose, Stimulation of hair regrowth in an animal model of androgenic alopecia using 2-deoxy-D-ribose

Super intriguing that this simple molecule can stimulate hair regrowth. Game changer if it really works. My hunch is that this compound would have near nil side effects also, immune wise, sugars are rarely very immunogenic so I would not expect too many rashes or local reactions which are not uncommon with other topicals unless it’s an inherently irritating substance.

I’m going to order some Thymosin beta4, the full 43 amino, not the truncated TB500 versions (frag 1- 4) and (frag 17-23) and see how that goes. I need to do a bit more reading on how it use it for this purpose though.
