I looked on FAQ’s and other places for which sirolimus to avoid due to inconsistencies in the amount of sirolimus in the tablets/pills. I know there was a post on one brand that didn’t do so well but can’t find that post. I was getting ready to re-order (from Anil) and last time I bought Biocon; which along with Zydus have been tested and have been found to be good. this time he sent me a quote for: SiroBoon ( Sirolimus 1 mg ) Tablets company - Kachhela. any feedback on the siroboon by kachhela?
thx

I’ve never used Siroboon, but most here will tell you to avoid it. What they usually find is that its rapamycin content barely, if at all, registers in blood tests. Zydus may be the most dependable.

FWIW, I was on the Biocon/Eris sirolimus at 6mg/1week for some 11 weeks and registered 5.6 ng/mL at 49-50 hours after a 6mg dose according to LabCorp.
I am now toward the end of a 7 week rapa break (due to dental surgery). I will resume my 6mg/week sirolimus dose on 05/24, and after 3 weeks, intend to again test my 50 hour blood sirolimus level by LabCorp. But this time I will be testing the Zydus sirolimus, as that is the one I’ll be taking for those three weeks. My diet, exercise regimen will be the same. The only difference in my med stack will be that since the start of May, I have bumped up my empagliflozin daily dose from 12.5mg to 25 mg, and have added 180mg bempedoic acid once a day.
The manner of taking the 6mg sirolimus will be the same (on an empty stomach etc.), so the only difference will be the brand - Biocon/Eris (5.6 ng/mL) vs Zydus. We’ll see if there is a difference in blood levels.

I avoid buying two versions of sirolimus: Siroboon (because its a small manufacturer with highly variable quality it seems) and any compounded pharmacy capsules of sirolimus (which generally have about a 60% lower bioavailability). Note: this does not include compounded product from Ageless RX which seems to have resolved this issue in their product.

I use Zydus. and Rapacan. I have a multi-year supply in the fridge. As @RapAdmin says, I avoid Siroboon and compounded versions.

rapacan = biocon? I have the Biocon and it says rapacan on the front also. on the back it says manufactured by swiss garnier biotech pvt ltd. I’ll assume this is the rapacan you take?

Yes. That’s the same one.
Yes, and now the biocon brand has been purchased and rebranded as Eris.
