Try dissolving it in water first. Creapure tastes better.

Iāve heard that when creatine causes bloating to reduce the dose and take multiple times per day to get 3-5g/day. Use a good brand, of course, since you are trusting it with your health.

Iām still in the experimentation phase so the list might become a long one.
I tried NMN but, after a careful study of the literature and credible online sources, I decided itās too costly for its putative benefits. No effects perceived.
Presently, I would only buy a costly supplement if the evidence is overwhelmingly in favour. And thatās not an easy thing.

Many people can really feel energizing effects from NMN and thatās one of the reasons itās popular but also lotās of financially driven publicity. One thing to remember is that itās not very bioavailable. Small amounts can be absorbed sublingually but that means multiple doses over the day. Also liposomal likely works (for me anyway). If I didnāt feel anything, Iād stop taking it. I just ran out and will now try niacin in itās place. I agree the studies are mixed but that could be the bioavailable problem. NAD is certainly important and we know that levels decline with age.

Re. NAD concentrations in blood, there is a general trend of decline with age, but as with every trend of this type, there are individual variations. So, as it happens with blood glucose, we should have an idea of the optimal range, be able to measure plasma NAD with relative ease, take NMN/NR if needed and adjust our dose in such a manner to obtain the adequate response in terms of blood NAD concentration.
The above is the latest conceptualization of Andrea Meier of NUS, who has been studying NMN supplementation for a while. I donāt know how long it will take to make this procedure easy and inexpensive.

I just watched this recent interview of Dr Andrea Maier by Modern Healthspan (podcast). It was good but pretty general info. not much detail. Talked about her studies on AKG and NMN. Testing is valuable and is available for NAD+ from Jinfiniti but expensive at $248 USD. @ConquerAging uses this.

And Jinfiniti NAD+ test.

So maybe older adults who exercise vigorously would not benefit from dietary attempts to raise NAD levels.
From my experience, NMN helps with energy and jet lag. Those are reasons enough for me to take it. I mix 1 g of powder in EVOO daily.
