I want to start one of the PDE-5 inhibitors – either sildenifil or tadafil (suggestions welcome for my application). I am a 74 YO female with many risk factors for Alzheimers.

I tried to buy online --won’t prescribe to a woman. I am wondering if I should try the Amazon method – would they prescribe to a woman? I already tried the memory care doc that my husband goes to – she won’t prescribe it for him even though she is aware of the research because the details on dosage blah blah blah . . . . .

Another route would be for my husband to try to make the buy (he could use some for memory as well). But he is 87 – healthy but still 87 – so will they let him have it?

I just want to take the smallest dosage, like 2.5 mg of tadalafil, on a daily basis.

What would be the best route to pursue? If India, which supplier do you recommend. I have purchased other meds from Jagdish Nikose-- would he be best for this?

Guidance would be so appreciated!

The fastest is going to be just ordering from one of the Indian pharmacies…any of them on our list or that people have recommended. you may want to also get a US prescription longer term as that will likely be cheaper over time.

I would recommend going with a larger Indian Pharma company like Zydus.

That’s where I got mine from. Dirt cheap.
They do come in a 2.5 mg. tablet.

At my grocery store pharmacy, it’s $10 for 30 2.5 mg tablets using the free Good Rx card. Is it cheaper than that in India when you consider postage etc?

I just bought 1000 x 20mg from India for $80 USD. It is a generic brand vidalista.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I just put an order with Jagdish, with whom I had a good experience on a previous order. Thanks Desert Shores for recommending him. 5 mg Tadalafil is 10 cents per tab, regardless of quantity. I will be able to save on shipping because he is bundling with my order of Bempdoic Acid. So it is not the absolute lowest price but I will not be anxious. Anxiety is bad for your health.

With all the Indian pharmacy vendors - typically the vendor has some sort of wholesaler that they purchase their products from and which has a wide variety of medications available. Typically I would ask for the specific brand and dose I want - and most of the time the vendors can provide it. Occasionally they may not have access to a specific brand or dose that I want and will come back with a counter proposal, which I may, or may not, accept.
